Gov. DeSantis’ Anti-Protest Law Doesn’t Appear To Apply To Protests He Supports

“None of this was actually about some kind of principle. It has to do with who is doing the protesting. That is what the law that DeSantis passed in the wake of the BLM protests has always been about,” says Chris Hayes.

    2. @The Beach take another look jerk, the people are white. Evidently you know nothing about Cubans😡😡😡

    1. @Julio Prida – So… did you mail back your stimulus check yet, you poor Government handout taker?/

    2. @Nexus Six considering the fact that they are elected officials, yes, GOP lawmakers are probably more dangerous than any hate group

    1. The whole country is a bunch of hypocrites, both major political parties, celebrities, corporations, the media and most importantly the people.

    1. @The Beach – Against a Communist government? Gimme a break… can’t have it both ways, Chuckles…

    2. You clearly don’t know what a fascist is. The extreme left are the only fascist I see around this nation.

    1. Well, I don’t know. For some reason I’ll never understand, he came in second against Trump and 1st without him. Hmmmm

  1. the party of law and order follows none of it. DeSatan broke his own law and gave a pass to his supporters. ya sorry…this law vilolates 1st am rights and wont stand up in court.

  2. Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect

  3. He’s gonna keep going and when his kids get old enough, they’re the ones that’s gonna b effected by them.

  4. Florida has become a bit scary. People the world over should be wary of the entire state. Between the state government as well as the fact that the state is the leader in number of crazies that took part in the January 6 traitorous actions. Florida is not a safe place to vacation. People coming from other countries should skip Disney and go see the Redwood Forest, the Grand Canyon or New York City. Florida has lost its mind.

    1. All hail OUR dictator Ronnie deafness he is the king. Every.knee shall bow and buy a t-shirt. He loves Covid. And Red Tide.

  5. “Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness of the people; and not for profit, honor, or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore, the people alone have an incontestable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to institute government; and to reform, alter, or totally change the same, when their protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness require it.” – John Adams

    1. Did you realize when you posted that quote that it will be taken by Republicans to mean one thing, and by Democrats to be another? Curious as to how you intended it to apply in the context of this video; would you care to clarify for everyone?

    2. That’s cool.
But where did they put that into the constitution?
You DO realize they made compromises, voted and held to a common set of facts. No ‘fake news’ or ‘alternative facts’ to hide ignorance and apathy.

    1. @Laura Contreras Should’ve used red… 😁 Funny how “red” used to mean communists.. now it means Putin-ism. Red states are Republican ones.

  6. Well, I’m no legal expert but I’m pretty sure DeSantis’ Law is unconstitutional. Particularly, if he picks and chooses when it applies…
