Gov. Inslee: Biden's Plan To Fight Global Warning Is 'Appropriately Ambitious' | Andrea Mitchell 1

Governor Inslee (D-WA) joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss Biden's "ambitious plan" to fight climate change and President Trump's rhetoric on the campaign trail. Inslee says "I could not be more delighted by Joe Biden's ambitious plan. It's appropriately ambitious. And it's real. It's not just some pipe dream. He has put forward a plan that is both comprehensive, robust and practical, meaning we could actually do it. The fundamental difference between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is when Trump thinks of climate change, he thinks 'hoax.' When Joe Biden thinks climate change, he thinks 'jobs'". Aired on 10/28/2020.

    • What we saw there was another failure by the news media to ask Joe Biden about Hunter Biden and whether or not he will admit that he lied to the American people about his son’s foreign business dealings,” Trump 2020 campaign spokesperson Erin Perrine said on “Outnumbered Overtime.

I can never allow more bad things to happen for the United States. I trusted Trump a lot and voted for him, but Trump has been very unsuccessful in running our country. 230 thousand people have died, the health care system has collapsed, our democracy is under threat, and worse things are happening. We can’t let any more bad things happen. The deadline is November 3. Do it for the United States.

  7. Biden actually has policies. Some of them are good. It’s going to take time to help climate change, and it should be required for every future president.

I live in PA and I care a lot about our state and our industry, and I also care about the health of our residents and the impact that the environment has on health and welfare. (I work in healthcare.) Biden isn’t going to ban fracking; he will reduce subsidies and restrict fracking on federal land. He has been clear about that. Change can be difficult, especially if we are talking jobs and livelihoods. Change is going to come though, whether we like it or not; even if, by some strange glitch, Biden doesn’t get elected, it’s still going to come to PA. We have to start thinking of the future, and the future – for the sake of our health and our environment – needs to be about reducing our dependency on fossil fuels. We need to stop burying our heads in the sand and relying on other people to clean up the environment for us. We need to start thinking about the kind of world we want for our children and grandchildren; it’s not someone else’s responsibility – it’s our responsibility. Moving away from fossil fuels will also help to de-politicize our relationships with other countries. We can have honest interactions with them and not kowtow to their policies because of our reliance on them for fossil fuel. Getting away from our reliance on fossil fuels can also provide opportunities and jobs for Pennsylvanians – giving them jobs wherein they can help to build alternate sources of energy and then continue to monitor and improve and innovate same. This offers new jobs and new opportunities for growth. We could see a revitalization of cities and towns like Steelton, Shamokin, Sunbury, Lewistown, Bradford… cities and towns and areas and local economies that have been heavily impacted by the death of outdated industries like steel and coal. We could see these places come back to life with new jobs, new futures for the people, especially the kids, that live there. We could see change and transition from our reliance on fossil fuels and that industry as an opportunity instead of something to be afraid of. This transition can provide time to train and grow, and move Pennsylvania into a cleaner and healthier and more economically stable future. Just a thought. #BidenHarris2020

    • My Irish/Indian old disabled veteran butt says NO❕

This is a simple case of truth. One of the candidates is a lying, thieving, cowardly traitor to this nation. The other is Joe Biden❗

The Wrong Party is extinct. And after this election… they had best be far away and well hidden. We, The People… are coming for revenge. There’s simply no way to say it any more plainly.

Vote blue… or suffer the consequences of your actions.
Did you: aid, abet, or offer support of any type to these criminals and their corrupt administration❓

  15. If we don’t start seeking out alternatives from oil, we are going to lose years in catching up with other world countries. Change may not always feel good in the beginning, but change can also boost our long term goals and bring us gratefulness.

  16. Better future, better jobs, Joe Biden.
