    I’m going shopping tonight one more time before I shelter in place.

The pillsbury doughboy at his speeches (which are supposedly meant to be informative, compassionate, concise, truthful and based on medical and scientific facts) instead are just a platform for his rallies. A goose talking to sheep(maga’s). He is so bad he lies about lies and when fact checked palms it to another person or rambles about a random subject. Get rid of this flipper.

  2. February 26, 2020, Trump’s comments on the coronavirus:
    “When you have 15 infected people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero….that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.”

    Today, Trump is back to claiming that the virus is no different than the flu, and we should just reopen the the country and go back to business as usual by Easter.
    Trump actually believes he can set a deadline for a pandemic to end. I’ve never seen a human being so confident in his own stupidity.

    Trump’s March 17 press conference: 
    “This is a pandemic. I felt it was a pandemic long before it was called a pandemic.”

    During any emergency or crisis, you will find that some people will rise to the occasion, people like Governor Cuomo, and the nurses and doctors who have been on the front lines of this crisis since day one. And unfortunately, you will have some people like Trump, who will categorically fail during a crisis. They will not rise to the occasion. Instead they will fail at the moment of truth. In the end, the true character of a person will always be revealed when they are faced with adversity. And the eternal question will always be, what did they do when it truly mattered?

    1. In some sense, he’s right. He barred the virus from China by quarantining all the confirmed cases and close contacts. But he failed to plug the holes and stop the spreading when community transmission started. The democratic system is inferior to an Authoritarian system in times of crises.

      He did that on Jan. 31st, a full 3 weeks after we had known about it, not an early response. The ban also only restricted Chinese & not Americans from flying to & back for another week. The racist claims stem from the fact that Trump allowed Americans to continue to travel back & forth while restrictions only applied to Chinese citizens. It’s been well documented that Trumpers simply swallow whole WHATEVER Trump says regardless of demonstrably wrong. Thanks for proving this point for us.

    1. Governor Cuomo is knee deep in a overpowering medical crisis. His intelligence and composure is truly inspiring. NY AND NY City are going to need all the help he can get. Then it will be others turn. Den.ordered tonight to stay at home except for store runs and necessary jobs.

    4. Like cuomo crying wolf about ventolators and clearly lying about it yesterday. Oops caught on tape! What was Cuomo doing in January? He waited to order supplies. Too slow to act and praises his NYC leadership for congregating in large groups while spreading the virus.

  5. Three months in and hospitals still don’t have adequate medical supplies. We are so behind from other Countries who have tested thousands a day it’s a shame. The most important thing in this Country to our law makers is Wall Street’s GREED!

    How do we call ourselves the greatest nation a thousand points of light? When we are unable to test and gather data on the population. Nor can we mask our care givers. Pa thet ic.

  8. The spreading of this virus is due to corporate and personal greed. Mardi Gras is a perfect example and now New Orleans is hurting.

I’m currently reading a FICTIONAL book called “Fever” by Druga (can’t remember her first name) and it’s weird how some authors and creative types (like Bill Gates) can SEE from history that we aren’t prepared for this. That rumor about Bill Gates “knowing” the virus was coming and he didn’t warn anyone is just a rumor. He has studied history. He’s very interested in how clean water helps small villages. He was speaking hypothetically just like the author of the book. I love history. I KNEW something like this was coming. You always hope that it doesn’t but with something that’s easily transmissible and modern travel speeds. It was only a matter of time. The 1918 flu would’ve been worse if they had passenger airlines back then. This is now. Distance is key. Stay safe.
