We are definitely living in LALA land. The media keeps taking about the fall bringing in a second wave, but with all of these states opening the first wave is about to really reach it’s crest.

Unlike Trump and Pence my Prime Minister is practicing physical distancing.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump or Pence ( and Aide of his has Covid 19) eventually gets Covid-19. They might be wearing masks soon.

Unless you’re in the White House with them you don’t have the foggiest idea what they’re doing or not doing.
So, your writing that you’re out delivering perishable items without wearing a mask. You didn’t write if you wore gloves or not. If it’s as dangerous as you keep telling me it is, aren’t you afraid that you’ll be contaminated or giving someone else CCOVID-19?
@Goldenhawk H When I deliver food I leave it outside the customer’s door.I have no contact with the customer. It’s the customer’s responsibility to wash his hands ( if he/she wants to) after picking up the bag of food. I never touch my eyes or mouth with my bare hands while I’m working. I’m not worried about Covid-19.80% Of Covid-19 cases where I live are in Nursing Homes.
Trump and Pence are in their 70s so it’s easier for them to get Covid-19 versus someone who is 20 years younger.
Imagine if the virus can travel on the meat into people’s homes

American should learn from China to block traffic among states (provinces in China) and establish many temporary mobile cabin hospitals in states to separate patients classified as Asymptomatic, light-medium symptomatic and Severe. Otherwise, the healthcare systems may collapse.

Most of the jobs that illegal immigrants are doing are jobs that even our poor people can’t afford to do, or they won’t do because safety regulations aren’t being enforced. And it’s the corporate minded Republicans who have been taking advantage of that labor pool for decades. That’s why the Republicans didn’t do anything about immigration until Trump came along and used it as a dog whistle issue to get elected. That’s OP’s point; we use and abuse immigrant labor. Very few of the jobs they do take away from American workers.

You, like most conservatives, don’t grasp what the academic “safe space” is. You assume that it has some kind of protective function for people who need to somehow be shielded and protected. But as a Navy Seal wrote when he decided to go back to school at Princeton, the “safe space” is exactly the opposite. It’s supposed to be where people can freely speak about difficult and divisive issues without being attacked. It’s the exact opposite of what you’re assuming. This Navy Seal also stated he was surprised and impressed by the students he met. Being older, he thought they would be a bunch of whiny kids but said they were extremely intelligent and tough. Like most conservatives, you’re just projecting what you think these ideas are without learning about the reality.
It reminds of how conservatives think “saving the planet” is actually about the planet; rather than our own living environment and economy. Conservatives have a strange tendency to thing in broad existential terms about things the left advocates for without actually learning about the practical exigencies behind those ideals and policies. You tend to project silly views rather than look at the practical reality.
