  1. Reminds me of that jewelry store armed robbery in Parksville a few years ago. It’s a mystery why the island seemingly produces these violent criminals, and without warning out of the ground.
    Weird.

    1. Really? Was there a manikqin in the show to ?
There’s picture’s of a Mannequin dress like a Robber it’s the same picture of the Dead guyπŸ€”

    1. You’d think. But the witness said they had lots of time to leave with the money and didn’t.

    1. @tim mullins They were wearing vests. Probably taking their time. Probably hoping for a shootout.

    1. Very sad. Simpletons will blame the parents as though they could control their every action in life.

    2. @Theresa75 they were 22, to blame parents would be redundant, as they were their own male adults, fully capable of making their own decisions.

    1. It’s certainly possible that money was the primary motivator, however, it’s possible they were looking for a real-life GTA experience…

    1. Not sad. The bad guys are dead. Their lives were worthless, so no waste. Call it poetic justice.
Hopefully the Police and victims all recover fully.

  2. They were both early twenties.. I find it kind of SAD these kids fantasized themselves into a real hail of bullets. Its just not cool when two brothers that young, get themselves lifted off the street like that. I wonder how they got it in their heads to even try that. ???

    1. This is a great question, and bigger question is, why did the RCMP show up with Guns Blazing?? I feel sad for the community, the Kids, the Parents, the cops I have little sympathy for…

    2. @JDE Because the employees were not permitted to legally defend their own lives, even from bored rank amateurs. That’s why.

  3. It’s still kinda sad they were in such a low moral state they would do something like this.. two twin brothers with long lives ahead of them. Terrible and I feel so bad for the parents..

  4. Why are their photos being shown when you don’t know the fate of the officers?
    Their families deserve better.

  5. “The motive behind the armed robbery and subsequent exchange of fire with police has not yet been determined”
I’m going out on a limb to suggest that money was the motive
