    1. @Jean Denis exactly! is it any wonder that the words martial law also make up the word Walmart. it’s been there all along. the plans.

  1. Make no mistakes, there’s no way for jovenel to be killed like this without the highest level of support of the police chief

    1. @Jehovah Witness even 100 trillion can’t change this country unless the everyone put hands together to save the country

  2. Of course they’re under martial law. That’s a prerequisite to install a military regime to rule over the country.

    1. Yup yup, its going to get a whole lot worse. Jovenel was terrible but things are going to get a lot worse from here

    1. If watch the videos of the assignations the assailants weren’t even Haitian (you could cleary hear fluent spanish), leading to a number of conspiracies from it being a hit team hired by another politician to foul play of an outside country.

    2. This is 2021. Everyone knows CQB. In Haiti people expect this between cartels and DR. It’s nothing new. And anything is better than Papa Doc.

  5. What “highly trained mercenaries” would get caught in the same city where the president was assassinated? None of this makes sense.

    1. you’re not familiar topography of the area, I am. The president lived in the hills above the capitol with essentially two ways downs the mountain. If security forces were alerted or quickly realize what’s transpiring they’ve could have easily been quickly encircled which cause them to try to take refuge in homes or structures nearby because they’d have to go through the security forces.

  6. I think the prime minister is suspect number 1, he was due to be replaced the same day jovnel was killed

  7. I thought the President seized power (wasn’t duly elected). If so, seems similar to what Trump tried to do. The reporting here makes him seem more legitimate.

    1. He didn’t seize power, he was elected and delayed from taking office until a year later while an unelected interim president served the first year of his 5 years term. He and the opposition disagreed on when constituted the end of his term, meaning was it 7th of February 2021 or 7th February of 2022. He was no saint but politics in Haiti is brutal and he upset some of the oligarchs that are accustom to getting sweetheart deals at the expense of the public treasury. Hence, why its seems that it was financed by the elites in the country.

  8. So is everyone just forgetting that a week ago Haitians were demanding Moise leave office and world leaders were condemning his refusal to leave and his attempts to give himself greater power, the actions of a tyrant?

  9. What in the world, was Laurent Lamothe talking about?
What’s happening in “Ayiti,” (Haiti,) is actually the legacy of his governance, as a former “Prime Minister,” of Haiti, and of the decadence of the self-acclaimed “Vagabond,” the former President of Haiti, Michel Martelly.

  10. Jesus Christ saves from sin.
    Romans 3: 23
    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
    Hebrews 9: 27
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
    Isaiah 64: 6
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
    Revelation 21: 8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
    Romans 5: 8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
    John 3: 16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    John 14: 6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
    Romans 10: 9-10.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
    Jesus said John 5: 24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
    1John 5: 10-13
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
    Ephesians 2: 8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
    Romans 8: 1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
    1 Corinthians 15: 3-4
    For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
    2 Corinthians 5: 21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
