Hayes: Silent Deaths From Air Pollution A Part Of Trump Admin.’s Legacy | All In | MSNBC

  1. This is good reporting by Chris Hayes. I enjoy the work of the MSNBC hosts. If people don’t believe about air pollution, they should go visit parts of China and the affects that their rapid growth has done to the air quality over there. Listening to people who lived and grew up there, indicated that its pretty bad. The rollbacks of environmental protection will have lasting damage on the country with not just air quality but climate control, which I know the network believes in but the current administration doesn’t. Perhaps he’ll believe when his secret service agent is wheeling his oxygen tank when he goes golfing in a few years and the blue skies will be gray and overcast.

  2. That is more than the number of all the people who died in 9/11!!! Trump, the Republican Party, and the Corporate Donors companies who benefited from these environmental air pollution cutbacks are responsible and it will only get worse if Trump and these Republicans stay in office.

    1. It is even better. They were poor Seppos, their deaths would not have been instant, it would have driven these people and their families into bankruptcy with medical costs first. So their deaths would have been very profitable for big business, in fact they died generating more wealth for big business than they could have produced if they lived.
Winning! MAGA! Remember the life expectancy you had back when America was great, know you 1800s.

  3. I have to check the air quality daily, just to ensure if it’s safe for my daughter to go outside. Thanks 🙏 for caring trump.

    1. Kevin Mcneil, how about proving how stupid it is? Why not get all the air pollution pumped directly into your home, then in 6 months come back and tell us how good you’re doing.

  4. When you put things into perspective like this, your view of the world changes! Will the American people be able to sue tRump and his administration for all his undoing of the laws that were designed to prevent people from dying?

    1. @robert gilleland well said, used that line to get a large contract once. Catching up before the meeting started in foyer the Real estate agent for the client said “I would sell my grand mother for a 100k”. my instant deadpan response was “check out if you can rent her out for greater profit”. Client looked at me and said “If this is the paralegal’s thinking, this is my law firm now”.

  5. Its the reason Republicans don’t object to Trump’s constant madness. Its enabled them to do terrible things to the country with very little coverage. Trump can do this because of people’s short memories, when a lot of the rights and protections kick in, Trump will be long gone and who ever the current president is will get the blame.

  6. Aitr pollution is a global problem – I live in China and I built my own air purifiers . The PM2.5 level today starts at over 100 and WHO estimates pollution deaths here are 10 times higher than USA. In UK, 40,000 a year,.

  7. Thank you so much, Chris Hayes, for exposing the truth about the effects of worsened air quality. This horrific administration’s gutting of the EPA does have tangible effects, particularly for our children, whose tiny lungs cannot tolerate pollution, particularly if they are asthmatic. It isn’t helping our elders, either. Thank you. I am so grateful for your reporting of the facts.
