‘He would if he could’: Russia expert on Putin’s desire to take over Ukraine

    1. @SOSOutOfDarkness I’d hope not, cuz we got chili’s bebe back ribs back, lol. Don’t wanna jinx the brand, not that napoleon wasn’t pretty great, even with the losing and hiding like a criminal like putin.

    2. @Kryzzan yes, but today is corruption in Russian army! Old tanks which stopped and can’t to fire in Chernigov in February.

  1. Putin’s desire to take over Ukraine is no different than his desire to one day dunk a basketball. He would if he could. 🤣
    Slava Ukraini!!! 🇺🇦 🇺🇲

    1. @A Rau are those bombs that are raining down on Ukraine Russian ? Run away , live to fight another day , it’s not over yet . Russia will conquer that corrupt Ukraine regime , no matter how long it takes or was planned to take , whatever , Ukraine will belong to Russia 🇷🇺 Bravo Russia

    2. @T. Dmytryshyn sometimes you have tone monstrous when fighting a monster , zelensky is a wolf in sheeps clothing , his people mean nothing to him , he’s all about himself and his own fame , he’ll be killed soon enough by his own .

    1. CNN is one of the biggest angl0regime pr0paganda mouthpiece which is well known for spreading lies, misinformation and twisting facts.

  2. So here’s my problem. We’ve known all along what was going to happen and yet we did not provide Ukraine with defence capabilities prior to the invasion. Instead of pre-empting what was going to happen we just react to each move that President Putin makes at a snails pace. Strategically we make President Putin look like a military genius. All this could’ve been nipped in the bud before it even started….

    1. @Visnja Livancic logically when Russia takes the crimea and Donbas as if it,s theirs, obviously the Ukrainian,s had the right to arm themselves anyway they could. Ukraine is NOT Russia

    2. @Master Q 2.0 this is not true, most of the corruption was imported and directed from Russia, remember Yanukovych who stole millions from the Ukrainian people? he was Putin’s puppet President and when he was found out he fled to Russia , before the Ukrainians could put him on trial, the Ukrainians have worked hard to get rid of the corruption and developed proper democracy, but Putin did not like it and invaded Ukraine

    3. @Mark M what to do next? the answer is easy, the Ukrainians have been winning ever since the NATO heavy weapons arrived last summer, which means keep calm, listen to the Ukrainian Generals and deliver what Ukraine has asked for and they will win this war asap, despite Russia being 10 times the size of Ukraine, watch updates on this channel, please enjoy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmwFJqd4RGQ

    4. That is true. IF Biden would have sent thousands of soldiers to Poland and Eastern Europe, Putin would NOT have attacked Ukraine in February. What we would have had was an escalation along the north eastern european border and THEN a de-escalation, step by step. Instead we begged Putin to not attack Ukraine without sending Troops to Europe and Putin felt emboldened by attacking Ukraine. Game Theoretically, we made a giant mistake. The sending of US troops in november and december 2021 would have been costly, but NOTHING compared to the the money the US and Europe is spending NOW for Ukraine and against Putin. It shows that the reaction to aggression is oftentimes not being peaceful but by ESCALATING so the other, the opponent, can DE-ESCALATE. But when you do not escalate to an opponent´s escalation, the problem is that he will feel emboldened to attack.

  3. A Tribute to Ukraine

    The Fight

    Where were you
when the walls came crumbling down.
    Fearing for our lives
    In our home towns.

    Where children once played
    Laughter was everywhere
    We now find graves
    Seems like only…we care.

    But now,
    We’re standing side by side
    Defending arm in arm
    Praying for our lives.

    And now,
    We’re standing toe to toe
    Fighting hand to hand
    Dying for our nation’s soul.

    Instrumental 🎶

    If we lose.
If this was our last fight.
    I promise you
    We didn’t run and hide.

    Only one way to live
Head high and full of pride
    What we would give
Our blood and tears we cried.

    But now,
    We’re standing side by side
    Defending arm in arm
    Praying for our lives.

    And now,
    We’re standing toe to toe
    Fighting hand to hand
    Dying for our nation’s soul.

    Instrumental 🎶

    A burst of lightning
    coming from the morning sky
    confuses all
We will not run and hide.

    But now,
    We’re standing side by side
    Defending arm in arm
    Praying for our lives.

    And now,
    We’re standing toe to toe
    Fighting hand to hand
    Dying for our nation’s…..

    And then,
    There’s one thing that remains.
    Fight until the death
    Fight for our Ukraine.

    But now,
    Our prayers were not met
    By those who stood by
By those who would forget. .

    1. Commedian Ukraine President Zelenskyy has received a large amount of weapons from NATO countries and the United States and the UK and has placed weapons near schools and hospitals. They think that Russians will not attack these places, but Russia is targeting and destroying them. ,Western countries and UK’s plan is to continue the war so that even if Ukraine is destroyed, Russia should be defeated, so they are helping Ukraine by giving massive weapons of destruction. /dont send money for war Ukraine , africa atheiopia there poor country, just send it too them.every day dies people for food ,

  4. One evil man that’s all it take,so many deaths so many wounded this war needs to stop, and Putin needs to go!!!

  5. Glad to hear this gentleman voice that it is same speech being spouted by Putin that Hitler spouted. Spot on!

    1. No!! You are believeing cnn lies and propaganda!!! Putin is liberating Ukraine from N@zisim. And the Glorious Soviet Union and Socialism is making a comeback!! Keep coping about it. I love Russia, and Belarus, Cuba, China, Vietnam, and Laos! from usa.
🇷🇺🇧🇾🇨🇺🇨🇳🇻🇳🇱🇦 all together against the disease of liberalism!!!!

  6. Putin never WIN My Tribute go the wonderful Ukraine 🇺🇦 President and the Ukraine 🇺🇦 Citizens ❤❤❤💙💛💙 WE LOVE YOU

  7. I remember this presenter from the time when she was covering the war in Iraq..so truthful and reliable, pure gold. She would not make false statements at any cost..😁

    1. as is whole cnn….so unbiased and objective…..not pushing any agendas at all….a real treat to watch 🤪

    2. Hello from Georgia. I have noticed that she is sometimes biased. Which reduce credibility of this channel

  8. I wonder how quickly Putin would end the war if he knew he had to go fight on the frontlines himself? 😊

    1. @Frank Balibundi I agree with almost everything you’re saying. But be careful about claiming that Hitler just wanted to stay safe during times of war. He was a WW1 soldier who was referred to as brave by his fellow military countrymen. I’m not claiming, or even remotely insinuating that Hitler was a decent human being. I’m only claiming that he wasn’t a coward who hid in safety during wars.

    2. @Coffeetalk good points, but consider: drugs will change a person’s psyche & personality. My grandmother was treated (~1930) for severe asthma at a shady clinic with crude new versions of today’s hard drugs. She was a completely different person after her family eventually removed her from that hellish place. Paranoid, unreasonable, and a danger to herself & others. At other times she seemed charming & capable. I suspect that there was a similar change in the Nazi party’s Head Boy.

    3. @Jenny Johnson yes, drugs played a role in Hitler’s paranoia during WW2. Absolutely! But there is no indication that he was on drugs when he actually fought as a German soldier during WW1. And as for WW2, he didn’t actually hide away in a bunker until the finally months of WW2, which is likely what most leaders would have done given similiar circumstances. We also know that several assasination attempts were made on his life during WW2 and he still refused to hide out in relative safety where attempts would be less likely. So was Hitler a cowardly type? No. There is no reason to believe it. He was most definitely delusional, morally dispicable and evil, but not a coward.

    1. Most US ambassadors are highly intelligent. There are some political appointments, of course, but they are mostly highly qualified.

  9. Sovjet never invaded Finland but tried. We lost 10% of our land after russian unprovoced and cowardly started the Winter war 1939 but we kept our indepedency. This criminal war against Ukraine has many similarity with the Winter war.

    1. At this point, regime change, key word REGIME since it isn’t a government, is preferable than allowing a psychopath to imagine his greatness.

    2. @A Philippines Adventure That is a meaningless statement. Money laundering where any by whom?
The russians have been laundering money for years. For clarification see: Trump Apartments.

    3. the west is interested in russians changing their own regime.
she meant they weren’t gonna help with that.

the US and the west have a history of doing that, but doing it to an unstable nuclear power is NOT on their list.

  10. Two different things. 1.Getting the word to actual citizens in Russia and nearby countries.
2.Leaders being convinced and aware of Putin’s goal to take all of Ukraine.
