Well…the consequences could have gone the other way. Fortunately, this worked out okay. It could just as easily have turned out that the human “cargo” was too heavy, was imbalanced, and the plane could have crashed, killing everyone.
This my friends is what thinking for yourself in real situations looks like. Ive taught my children even with part time jobs think for yourself Obviously within reason. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 congratulations
All veterans should be very proud of their service in Afghanistan great strides made just not measured in military or media terms. (Humanitarian worked in Afghanistan over 3 years.)

That crew risked themselves to save others. There needs to be follow-up to assure the crew doesn’t receive punishment.
Rules are the rules. They broken USMC USAF and international protocol, so they should be reprimanded and court marshaled. After all of that in the end they should be commended and charges dropped. But they do need to be reprimanded and court marshaled first!

Air crew’s mind was to save the people as many as they could. Their lives were at risk as anything could have happened during that moment. Air Crew are heroes.
