    1. @eponymousIme The way I see it is they use the digital to compile the vote numbers to make it faster to count and the paper as a backup if there are questions.

    1. @Brian Johnston Like you, I believe everyone who has been found to have been knowingly telling falsehoods of such importance should be held accountable for those lies and the damage they caused; regardless of political party, sex, gender, race, age, religion, income, etc. We should hold each other to higher standards, especially those elected to represent us. We should expect better.👍

    2. @Jetmir MetaliajNo, it’s not “fake news”. People sue each other all the time for defamation; hence, “speech is free but you have to pay for your lies”. As for the lies Fox news has been insulting their viewers with, they’ve admitted under oath that they were lying about the 2020 election the whole time. They knew it was not “stolen” or “rigged”, and that Dominion didn’t “fip votes”. Don’t take my word for it, just read Rupert Murdoch’s deposition transcript… ‘New court documents show that Rupert Murdoch and his top lieutenants at Fox News were aware that former President Trump’s claims of voter fraud in the 2020 election were false, but agreed to give them continued coverage in an effort to keep unhappy viewers from fleeing.’

By no means am I suggesting Fox is the only news outlet lying to its viewers, it’s just the one we’re talking about right now because they’re being sued. Unfortunately, all news outlets tell varying amounts of lies and misinformation to their viewers. I can deal with bias, but the lies they tell are a damn shame.

    1. @AT 1984 doesn’t mean I agree, but I can certainly respect that opinion. If that’s how it is perceived it’s other stations responsibility to make sure to change that perception.

    2. @Blake The great one If nothing else, I would trust either Biden or Clinton (because we’ve seen it) to accept the result of an election. Trump…… not so much. That might seem like one thing, but that one thing has had serious repercussions for the country.

  1. No wonder Fox news is playing nice as they actually side with regulations on the train industry. That’s a first.

    1. FOX is playing nice because they have no choice, but too little, too late. Take FOX, the shareholders, sponsors and GOP co-conspirators down with them.

    2. They only sided with what happened in Ohio so they could keep blaming “Biden” for everything and anything, even though part of the problem was trump cutting off those safety measures!

    1. Totally bankrupt Fox, then go after the liars, every last one of them! They should be banned from ever posing as journalists, reporters or comedians again. Imagine what would happen if Kimmel, Colbert, Fallon, or any other genuine TV entertainer/personality lied to the public like the maggots at Fox have been doing for dump!

    2. @Ann Smith In 1981, Murdoch bought The Times, his first British broadsheet, and, in 1985, became a naturalized US citizen, giving up his Australian citizenship, to satisfy the legal requirement for US television network ownership.

    1. @AbbersJ I truly believe you believe that. Like you believe the Democratic party is a good party in Joe Biden is a good president

    2. @Bill Hubbard PS.
Everybody knows Biden is cleverer than the orange blob, after all, he managed to rig the election and steal all those votes! LOL!!

    3. @AbbersJ I’ll give you that. He did but over 40 years in public office and the only thing successful he is done is stealing a election become rich an blabber on TV. But I guess we’ll get to see what kind of dumb crap Democrats will try to pull off this election year last time it was racism that they are the main perpetrators of we can’t wait to see what’s next to specially since America is now actually awake. When Democrats lose office America will start healing

    4. @AbbersJ Biden made millions of dollars in Russia, so did his crazy son Hunter who received millions of dollars from the wife of the Moscow Mayor.
I didn’t mention anything about any business deals rather how Trump warned the country and the world about a strong Russia & China relationship and China supplying weapons to the Russians.
Trump turned out to be correct, but it pains you to admit it. Biden is clueless when it comes to foreign affairs.

    1. Even in my home town, they’ve defended Dominion as being upstanding. But a few of the Republicans who lost their elections here are being tRump’s & fLake’s about it.

    2. @S H The emails came from the Discovery Process. They had to turn them over or they would have been in even more hot water than they already are. Nothing legally earth shattering there.

  2. The Supreme Court should order, Hannity, Tucker, Maria, and Ingraham, to issue a live primetime statement to the American people that they lied about Trump’s election lie.

    1. @Nancy Griffin The point is the CNN hosts lied about a teenager. I’m sure they have children who are about his age.
They are willing to lie about a teenager, so what makes you think they will tell you the truth about Trump, a person they despise.

    2. @AT 1984 They did not lie about Sandman. What lie did they tell? NBC and Washington Post were also sued. Sandman sued for ’emotional distress’ after he was filmed with the Indian and the video went viral.
CNN settled out of court to avoid a lengthy trial. Companies often settle just to make a suit go away. Doesn’t mean that they could not have won. It’s just cheaper to do it this way.
You still haven’t given me any lies they told. One isn’t enough and it wasn’t a lie.

  3. Lol. The problem is that the public is not being protected from enemies of our nation pretending to be journalists.

    1. They’re pundits. Pundits! They’re not journalists, but pundits! As a faraway foreign news editor, it’s maddening beyond words to see people constantly refer to Hannity and Tucker et al as ‘journalists’, when they themselves say they’re not whenever a court case comes along.

    2. The problem is that the public is often incapable of looking beyond the comfortable bubble they like to be in. Hence, the consumption of information is not about being more knowledgeable or informed, but about having one’s own biases confirmed.

    3. Precisely. The way to destroy America is from within, through disinformation. Putin knows it, China knows it. The war is real, and so are the propaganda efforts.

  4. First Amendment and deliberately misleading people are two different things. There is plenty of case law about this. If they were talking among themselves and didn’t mention Dominion or voter fraud, then the lawsuit wouldn’t exist.

    1. @dev, there’s a record of phone calls and texts, in other words you’ve missed the point. Listen to the video this time.

    2. BUT , TOTALLY HIDING LAPTOP CONTENTS – UNTIL AFTER THE SOOOO CALLED ELECTION !! IT’S ALL GOOD ! – FOR THEM ALL ! .

    3. The first amendment in layman’s terms just means the government can’t punish you for criticizing them. Deliberate lies that damage the reputation of a person or business can open you up to civil liability.

  5. Journalists should be accredited and held to ethical standards, their accreditation could be removed by a panel (like lawyers). Tucker would already have lost his accreditation because he’s claimed in court that no one in their right mind believes him.

    1. @oleary531 oh Whataboutisim, I thought you’d done gone and growed up. Must be in middle school by now. 8th grade? Not to worry, you’ll hit your peak in college. Probably graduate school. Maybe a PhD? But wherever life leads you, you Whaboutisim will not be missed.

  6. A law needs to be enacted that blatantly lying about an election result and litigating against that result is a crime punishable by heavy prison time.

  7. For most criminals the phrase is “Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.”
For Fox “News” the phrase is “Don’t say the line if you can’t pay the fine.”

    1. @Blake The great one You’re watching them right now. LOL. If no one watched them, they would be off the air. Duh.

    2. @Roger McMillan Give it time. Rupert Murdoch is in BIG doo-doo regarding his fiduciary duties to the corporation for allowing FOX to do this. Also, wait until we see if there is the ability to charge the FOX “personalities” as co-conspirators in the Sedition and attempted coup. And then, there’s always the “wild card” possibility that someone who lost everything because they believed FOX lies, might decide to go “lone wolf vigilante.” There’s still a lot of play left in this game.

  8. Freedom of the press is not freedom to report what they know to be untruthful. To report what they believe is the truth is not what they did. They knew they were lies, that’s their problem.

    1. @Robert OHara The States used to have such a system, but the criminal element of corporate power and corrupt officials supporting them is now the way the States operate! The States is now a pariah among nations for their inaction in allowing corporate governance to continue and prosper without consequence. And the rich get richer and more powerful and more criminally ouvert to maintain control and dominance!

    2. @tom sinter You’re right! How do you dismantle a system where the corporate elite and their political allies have power, unbelievable wealth and complete dominance over their entire Nation! There where the problem lies, if you can’t relieve the Federal reserve from political power in government and their corporate affiliates then the States will lose their democratic rights for their citizens who are the tax base and Fascism will take it’s place and everyone who works will be a slave to the system!

    3. You have the right to free speech, as long as you’re not dumb enough to actually _try_ it. The Analects of Joe Strummer.

  9. The irony of it all is Fox was never more vulnerable from their viewers then when they actually told them the Truth. Let that sink in.

    1. Nicole,
Did they ever tell the truth about anything? Never a fan so I can’t say, though I do have huge doubts.

    2. @Chris Albert
Its a case of tell me the caliber of your viewers without showing me their caliber by forcing daily lies down their throats.

    1. I think the whole point of the MAGA movement is for wealthy people to take money and votes from dim witted, gullible, MAGA cult members.

I sometimes wonder if at some point Trump thought to himself, “I want to be President and make a good return from it. Who are the most stupid, gullible Americans who will believe my lies and join a cult I start. Hmmmm, I think the poorly educated, white, Christian extremist, xenophobic, racist, misogynistic religious fanatics will fit the bill nicely”.

    2. Only when it’s convenient they claim it’s commentary and not necessarily actual facts. However they have “News” in their name and never place any disclaimer’s stating it’s commentary and based on opinions of guests and it’s hosts.

The same crap was pushed down to all the local networks where announcers had to read on air a statement or else they would be fired. Obviously this e free reinforcement the viewpoints, conspiracy theories etc. to individuals that watchable but also expanded the narrative to citizens who only watched local news.

The continual rhetoric, anger continually incited their followers over false information, taking of rights, immigration, voter fraud etc.

They knew what they were doing and where it would ultimately lead. However I believe they arrogantly believed they could control the political discourse, anger, violence etc. leading to the January 6th Capital Attack.

    1. @oleary531 hey fool, where do you see me saying that I support “ lemon garbage”???
At least CNN sidelined him for saying something dumb; which is WAY MORE than Murdoch did, when his propagandists were knowingly spreading lies!!!!!

  10. Lying about matters pertaining to elections should be treated as criminal matters, and charged under fraud statutes. The media, campaign personnel, political candidates, and public officials at all levels of government should be held to this legal standard.

    1. You mean like the lies they made against Trump saying he was in collusion with Russia you mean all those lies why weren’t you screaming than?

  11. OMG this attorney just said I don’t want to dodge the question. That is amazing for him to be straight up honest like that it’s so refreshing to hear.
