  1. It is a football match.
    Nothing else.
I do not give a hoot who wins, looses or if they draw the match.
Me just hoping for an entertaining spectacle..

  2. What I’m really thinking about if those guys from the Iran soccer team don’t win something this year they’ve all might turn up missing🤔

  3. Great points but tbh history has no place in deciding who wins at the World Cup. Just because fifa is corrupt doesn’t mean the rest of us should throw stuff at players to influence the games

    1. @THE PILGRIM yeah tysm but my point is that regardless of the politics the world cup is a sports competition and imma enjoy it for what it is. these stories are for people who don’t like football but need to talk about the world cup

  4. He was working for Washington Post (Iran hater) writing anti-iran sentiment and you said he was unjustly imprisoned 😂…

  5. As an Iranian, i and 99% of people of Iran hope a win for US bc we dont have national team, those players all are supporting Regime and promised for a huge prize from IRGC, they ignored our people and they just think of money and so – again, that team is not an Iranian national team

    1. @morteza nazar Whats the matter for you Tazi?! dont teach what you didnt learn and have no idea about, got it? Tazi/Arab?

    2. Iran has the right to defend itself against U.S imperialism, especially since what the U.S did to Iraq and Afghanistan.

    3. As another Iranian, I am 100% agree. This is Molla’s team not Melli (national) team. I am happy that they lost. Congrats to US.

  6. I thought they meant in a war; we already know the Cup always goes to a European or if played right, a South American team.

  7. Iran loves soccer far more than the USA so let them win.
Their hearts are in the game whereas the USA just wants
    to brag.

  8. I tend to agree with Jason’s logic. It is not the ordinary citizens of IRAN who are crazy radicalized people and like many citizens of the countries, try to do the best in what they have chosen to do like the athletes participating in the world cup. So if anything we have to give credit and admire them for their courage and winning for them would boost the morale of those who are seeking freedom from the oppression of the “RELIGIOUS FANATICS” who are killing their own people in the name of ALLAH😭😭🤬🤬☮☮

    1. @إستقم كما أُمرتَ those in power who committed atrocities for either of those things are no different and should both be held accountable.

  9. I’m an Iranian American and I’m happy USA beat Iran because 1-They deserved victory as they played much better 2-The Iranian team is not a national team .. they didn’t support Iranian people who are fighting with live bullets out in streets for their basic freedom… they’re puppets of the dictator regime and they don’t deserve respect or victory 😢

  10. “Women are in a position now to voice their opinion… women are getting empowered. The more power they get, the more voice they get to shift certain things around.

  11. Our American team will do everything in their power to let Iran win and make it look believable to make sure the Iranian players and their families stay safe from the Taliban regime. Personally I think the Iranian team should have been turned away from the games because of the pressure and danger they and their families are facing from the regime, the Taliban regime will have no one to blame but themselves!

  12. Precisely my point, I support USA and wouldn’t like USA to fall off from the world cup. The tension in Iran should concern all of us. And you can’t process a thought of reception from Iran regime losing a match against USA on the pitch.
