Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was arrested Friday days after video circulated of him holding his knee to George Floyd's neck for at least eight minutes before Floyd died. The arrest comes after residents awoke Friday to smoke billowing, fires burning and police lining their streets after another intense night of protests following Floyd's death. Police largely let protesters light fires and loot buildings into the early hours Friday before advancing through the area and creating a perimeter around the burnt precinct.

Cops functioning as Judge, Jury and Executioner for the hundred thousandth time…

There is clearly a totally out of control accountability and credibility crisis in this country and these police unions and fraternal order of police organizations that have facilitated this terrorism for far too long need to be flat out outlawed!

However, the riots present an excellect opportunity for Drumpf and his cult of totally underhanded white supremacists to once again display their gross lack of competent leadership! Perhaps they’ll claim that they, “Found no wrong doing!” again like they did in the Eric Garner investigation…

  11. The invention of the camera is quite possibly more mighty than the invention of the sword, gunpowder, etc. It is the best thing we have for revolution.

Took into custody don’t they mean a safe location stop the rioters what’s the cop been charged with who murdered George

  13. Now we got the missing part; he intentionally killed Floyd. Thank you for clarifying that.
Otherwise this didn’t make sense from seeing it happening in the video.

Oh, yeah, I’d forgotten about Muhammad Noor; what ever happen to him, anyway? Whatever it was, it must not have impressed the MPD with a sense of accountability.
