    1. easy to answer. indigenous blood and it shows. maybe if it did not show MAYBE would not have been mentioned but as it is ……………… lower public expectations and she lived a risky life style , just by being indigenous, and that makes it harder

    2. @kathy smith Perhaps I misunderstood what was going on . I just thought that the Chief made a “mistake” about Erin Gilmour , and didn’t realize what he had said , and no one
chose to correct him . (Even if she had been arrested that day , it still didn`t belong in the press conference . )

    3. @kathy smith Erin Gilmour was the daughter of a mining millionaire. He misspoke “arrested” for, I think, “assaulted.”

  1. Why would the solicitor generals office provide a grant to hire genealogists? There are private companies for this.

    1. the private companies that do this (Othram, Parabon) tend to outsource their genealogy work because genealogy often requires on-the-ground research in records repositories in localities around the world

    1. This time, you and your cohorts will not be allowed to enter Ottawa city’s center under any circumstances. So yes, see you in jump suits soon. Laws in Canada are not optional.
