Why did the Chief say that , ” Erin Gilmour was arrested that day .” ?
easy to answer. indigenous blood and it shows. maybe if it did not show MAYBE would not have been mentioned but as it is ……………… lower public expectations and she lived a risky life style , just by being indigenous, and that makes it harder

think he meant to say “assaulted”
Why would the solicitor generals office provide a grant to hire genealogists? There are private companies for this.
Yeah, why hire an individual when you could hire a whole company?
the private companies that do this (Othram, Parabon) tend to outsource their genealogy work because genealogy often requires on-the-ground research in records repositories in localities around the world
