  1. That body temperature is incredibly low. As an ER RN I had hypothermic patients but nothing like that!

davids11131113 There have been many documented cases like this, hers is just the longest. The medical team did an amazing job using extraordinary techniques to bring her back. There is no reason to diss their work.
Also, BBC broke the story, not CNN but why are you here if you’re not a fan.

    • mistery-ed yea a little too amazing, common sense tells you this story is Bullshit! What’s next, she’s got a go fund me page, totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars? Wake up people?

    • @Joe Masse The president is wearing off on the weak-minded. They think, in this instance, despite having no medical training, no understanding of how the heart works, what happens to the body when it’s basically frozen and/or the procedures used to revive someone with those conditions, they can just apply their layman’s “common sense” and know exactly what is and isn’t possible. There isn’t much worse than an arrogant ignorant person. Ugh! A bunch of stable geniuses making this country an unbearable place.

Yo if it’s true this could change how we treat extreme cardiac arrest

    • The thing is, that they were already in the cold – cold was the reason for the cardiac arrest. It may be difficult to put a body from normal temperatures into the cold so fast. Also, there was a lot of luck involved, I guess – Too many variables that can not be controlled every time.
BUT it is possible, several animals put on a similar reaction in extreme cold, too

      If what’s true?

    • @davids11131113 << Certified glue sniffing ignoramus 💩😬💩

    • Not a good solution for cardiac arrest. A very very interesting solution for hypothermia, and I’m definitely curious about what the upper time limit would be.

    • How?

  3. You got a precious gift to have survived, live your life to the full, I hope it’s a fun one! 😊💖

So… anybody wanna sign up for my new trial ?

Just need you to sign a small waiver

  10. Absolutely amazing!!! And she won’t go bankrupt because her home country has universal healthcare coverage as does the country the event happened in. And both are top ranked healthcare in the world. They don’t event think about how they will pay. I work with these national systems and they are so sad about what’s become of the U.S.

    • S Garrita …👈 Found the anti-American Democrat 🇷🇺🇨🇳 Russia China puppet.
Get your hate out of our country.

    • @Ethan Allen The only hateful person I see in this thread is you!

    • David Littler ….😂 You are a Democrat. You Democrats hate everything America is and that America has stood for. You animals divide people into different races and “groups” to use them. You aren’t fooling anyone you hateful Democrat.

  11. The same ‘magic’ is seen with victims caught in freezing water. It is not magic, it is proven science, but still amazing that an adult survived this. With children and teens it is more surviveable. Good luck, Miss!

  12. I wish every single country we had such kind of great, doctors and fire fighters with huge courage.

    • I wish we lived in a world where police weren’t looking for an excuse to brandish their weapons. Not all are bad, blah blah blah.

  13. Truly amazing!!!

  14. I think I’ve seen this on House.

  15. Good thing she was in a country that has Universal Healthcare. Not only was she given a second chance at life, she won’t have to worry about creditors harassing her for millions of dollars for the rest of her life!

  16. Thankfully she didn’t have a heart attack in the U.S.

  17. Amazing ! This is straight out of the ‘Abyss’ ! Kudos to the doctors ! 👏

  18. 24 down votes…what is wrong with people. This is an amazing story.

  19. They removed all of her blood, infused it with oxygen, and then reintroduced it? That is amazing!

the trumptards are all riled up, seems like they resent this woman’s survival. maybe because in the US she’d very likely have died waiting for medical care, unless she’s wealthy
