  1. Importing our drug and essential medical supplies from overseas is a prescription for disaster. 90% of our medicine and personal protection products are produced in India and China. Vaccines are also produced overseas. It is terribly irresponsible for major, necessary medical supplies to be sourced outside of the USA.

    1. Marina Dubois just like how most of the worlds IV bags are made in Puerto Rico 90% of the supply was disrupted with the hurricanes

    2. It’s national security and the corporations are trying to save money not lives. It should be a law that essential products must be produced inside the country on from over seas. How can a country as large as ours not produce their own medical supplies, we spend trillions on military operations over seas and the national security of this country is in the hands of other country and their production. If they stop shipping we are in the soup for sure.

The Republicans and the corporate Democrats sold us out years ago. They allowed industry to move to other countries because the corporations wanted cheap labor. American workers have been reduced to a line item on a budget.

    4. That is the bane of Americas problem. The media wont talk about it- that America is dependent on China for all of its commodities

  2. In order to survive this we will have to be innovative. In Italy more than 2800 healthcare workers are ill and several doctors have died.

    1. Tara Drolma are you serious? Jeez where did you see this news? Goodness I can’t believe Italy is suffering so bad 🙏🏼😢 We are so not prepared for this pandemic.

  3. Aaacccckshooally… she was amazed at the lengths that they are having to go to in order to compensate for a lack of supplies (which are brilliant)… not the method. She’s pointing out how difficult this situation is and giving kudos to those who are innovating … Please don’t use a title that makes Kate Bolduan seem like a child that is amazed by a card trick. <3 ya though. @CNN

    1. As a retired RN, nurses have been doing this for a very long time! They even taught us to use what we had available in nursing school. Gotta keep the hospital staff safe! Please call the ER if not life threatening before you go there!! It could also save your life in these times. Don’t believe me, look up nosocomial infection and there are many such as MRSA which almost everyone who is admitted to a hospital gets. Please stay safe!

    1. @shawn hughes “Think” …. Go away child. Educate yourself. Also, wash your hands… Lord only knows where they’ve been

    2. @shawn hughes see that’s how stupid you are I wasn’t trying to insult you I was just speaking the truth snowflake… Also put down the bottle…

    3. @John Doe im on vacation thanks to chinas wu-flu and ive never had a vacation so… no to putting down the booz and ues its your kinds go to….. calling to question my spelling and gramer because you have no actual rebuttals to my facts! hahahaha

    4. @kettle I gave out 30 boxes for free, but I must keep 6 boxes for family and I. Well, I just gave another half box away to a neighbor with an infant.

  4. Take this damn virus seriously. Doctors and Nurses in Italy are crying because they are running out of mask and other things necessary to treat patients.

    1. @BiShockzz Trump signs ‘families first’ coronavirus act, with additional $1 trillion stimulus in the works

    2. @Phillip Leong trump wants his friends to benefit from the virus, like trump declining test kits from who, which is why we’re lacking, trump wanted to do his pharma phriends a phavor, after all azar is a drug lobbyist.

    3. @BiShockzz now trump channel fox news is saying china is ‘threatening” drug shortages to the u.s. (no other country has reported this) and the pissing match between trump and china goes on with u.s. in the middle.

    4. @Crystal Giddens Cant support everyone. Think about that. and it wont last long before the cookie crumbles

  5. Desperate times call for desperate measures! For our country to be “the best in the World”, this is pretty sad and embarrassing!

  6. This is shame this man is awesome thank u sooo much for what u do sir u are awesome… but once again this is shame shame and shame we talking about damn america u kidding

  7. It is Georgia after all. That’s what you get when you have a patchwork of states trying to deal with national problem. What are you more afraid of, socialized medicine or the first of many viruses to come?

    1. @dizolv R I’m not even sure what bernies policies even are. That’s why I didn’t vote for him. I know he promises some free stuff. But I’m more worried about what he is not telling me. If Bernie is going to open up some factories in America and pay people to make medical supplies than I would vote for him. But if Bernie is just going to offer people free supplies with no idea on how to get them, I’m not interested.

    2. Bo Shepherd : hey, Bo. I’m in Canada. We get the “Free” deal. “There ain’t no such thing”. But, paying an extra $1200 in income tax in order to NOT pay $12000 in insurance premiums seems like a pretty good deal to me. I had a hernia procedure done at the sane place Rand Paul wad looking at, the Shouldice Clinic in Toronto. I had a Catheter Ablation done at Ottawa’s Heart Institute. It cost me $2.50.. . For the coke machine.

Peace, brother. I hope I’ve presented some facts.

    1. kamhong Joe Biden’s bad trade deals that sold out American medical manufacturing to China. Go ask China Joe why he destroyed American industries.

    2. @anne-marie Andrews Dr. Birx and the admiral already pointed out that those tests originally being manufactured at the TIME that the US started to produce its own had a 50% false positive test rate, AND that we had not been offered them directly by the WHO. Check your facts being spouting nonsense =)

  8. If doctors and nurses are infected it’s all finished. PLZ Take care of doctors and nurses need. They are very front line of this war.

    1. Blessed ….and people who draw blood ….lab workers have to spend at least 5-10 min body to body….. Too close for comfort….

    2. Previous month I was able to pull my first five figure income ever!!! I’ve been working for this provider over the web for 2 yrs now and I never been happier… They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most important thing about that is the fact that I am not that tech-savvy, they only asked for standard knowledge of internet and plain typing skill…Awesome thing about this work is that I have more time to spend with my family. I am able to devote quality time with my family and friends and look after my children and also going on holiday along with them very often. Don’t miss this chance and make sure to respond quickly. Let me show you what I do… *foryou49.com*

    1. @William Bailey
      Well you show up constantly.
If CNN is that poisonous to you why continually consume it’s content?
      Just helping their ratings…

  9. Where can you get surgical sheeting? I’m sure there are a lot of people with sewing machines that would be happy to help make masks.

    1. @Arnold Ziffle Bless your heart. I hope you are at leasst staying away from old people and encouraging your friends to do so too!😉

    2. L D
Thanks! You’re such a positive person. We need more people like you, especially during times like these.

  10. What the hospital pays $7 for a mask I’m sure that it was already charged way more than that to the patients anyway

  11. THE REAL HEROES IS THE DOCTOR AND STAFF , WHO IS DOING THEIR BEST FOR THE PEOPLE.,AND OF COURSE GOVERNOR COUMO.

  12. This is what happens when we use other country, now there doing the same, and u know what it’s hard to say it, but we probably deserve it!
