  1. When you play politics with the coronavirus, you lose.
    Trump learned this.
    DeSantis will also learn this.

    1. @Pierre Black he didn’t almost die. He was still working. Hahahaha
He took that hydroxy special and wasn’t even down two days.

    2. @Censorship Is real no, he did almost die, but he did NOT take HCQ he had a different cocktail of meds.

    3. @BooRock OMamba: But it didn’t stop Trump and will not stop DeSantis…they just. Don’t. Care.

    4. The only thing these guys learned was how to use the pandemic to booster their political careers and ego-centric popularity….

    1. Everything is politicized. Started to a degree when you refused to accept 2016 election.
Your division is like calling wolf, ie you reap what you sow. But it is not politics exactly to believe the covid vaccine is much less safe than advertised, be objective, come on man.

    2. @Sandi Harris I believe in one person, one vote (true Democracy) and trump lost by close to six million popular votes in 2016. Also, republican media, trump and you are responsible for politicizing Covid.

  2. question: why does the US compare itself with the UK? the UK has lost already, due to mismanagement, lifting restrictions to early etc.

    1. Because delta came from India to UK first before it came to USA. So the development lags behind a couple of weeks and you can look at UK in order to know what to expect. We have delta in the Netherlands too. Because 50 % of the population was vaccinated a month ago, most regulations were lifted. We went from 300 infections per day to over 11.000 within 2 weeks. Some restrictions were reimposed. Today 2500 infections. Hospitalizations and deaths rising gradually.

  3. as for the health workes, they swore an oath to protect life, without vaccination, they should be removed

    1. My medical employer has always made me have vaccines-commonsense is usually found in most all medical institutions, weird when scientists fight science!

    2. @Sense Of Rumor still here. Guess you lied when you said you reported me and was going to be gone.
      Coward told mommy

    1. politics, not science. Sure my best guess outside of hospitals and nursing homes, possibly masks have saved 10 people.

  4. It’s that “duty to protect” that people are having a problem with, especially when the people you are supposed to “protect” are threatening you with violence for wearing the mask. Personally, I’m not all that concerned: Stupid People = No Great Loss.

    1. So here is your education test, can you tell me cumulative which state has had more deaths per capita, Florida or Michigan?

  5. If Carpentersville, Illinois is the “wife-beater capital of the world”, then West Palm Beach, Florida is the Trump-enabling capital of the world. The callous disregard for the physical, emotional, and academic well-being of our children? Really, Mr. DeSantis?

    1. It’s the killing of innocent children, the immunocompromised, that has me so passionate to stop the selfish ignorance-it is like beating my head against the wall!

    2. @Jennifer Lehnherr If you referring to kids that are more likely to have problems, maybe the right alternative is special arrangements for those kids.

    3. @Sandi Harris Other than ongoing chemotherapy and radiation, living in the hospital, splitting time between parents who have to go out work, are exposed to the spreading-what more special arrangements do you have in mind?

    4. @Sandi Harris Other than ongoing chemotherapy and radiation, living in the hospital, splitting time between parents who have to go out work, are exposed to the spreading-what more special arrangements do you have in mind?

  6. Typical Republican, puts his popularity and political career ahead of the health and safety of the American people.

  7. The citizens of Florida are pretty smart . We know the numbers are going up. We will adjust . In the mean time we don’t need you good people delighting in our misfortune. F all that do
