House Dems introduce resolution to impeach Trump again

House Democrats plan to vote Wednesday to impeach President Donald Trump for his role in last week's riots at the US Capitol, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer told House Democrats on Monday on a caucus call, according to sources on the call.
The House will vote Tuesday evening on a resolution urging Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from power, and then plan to vote Wednesday at 9 a.m. ET on the impeachment resolution, Hoyer said.
Democrats formally introduced their impeachment resolution Monday, charging Trump with "incitement of insurrection" as they race toward making him the first president in history to be impeached twice.
Democrats also tried to bring up the 25th Amendment resolution urging Pence to remove Trump from power on the House floor on Monday, but House Republicans blocked the request.
The single impeachment article, which was introduced when the House gaveled into a brief pro-forma session Monday, points to Trump's repeated false claims that he won the election and his speech to the crowd on January 6 before pro-Trump rioters breached the Capitol. It also cited Trump's call with the Georgia Republican secretary of state where the President urged him to "find" enough votes for Trump to win the state.
"In all this, President Trump gravely endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of Government," the resolution says. "He threatened the integrity of the democratic system, interfered with the peaceful transition of power, and imperiled a coequal branch of Government. He thereby betrayed his trust as President, to the manifest injury of the people of the United States."
The resolution, which was introduced by Democrats David Cicilline of Rhode Island, Jamie Raskin of Maryland and Ted Lieu of California, also cited the Constitution's 14th Amendment, noting that it "prohibits any person who has 'engaged in insurrection or rebellion against' the United States" from holding office.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told House Democrats that the House would proceed with bringing an impeachment resolution to the floor this week unless Pence moves to invoke the 25th Amendment with a majority of the Cabinet to remove Trump from power.

    1. @David Kempton LOL you better bring some back up buddy, don’t get shot in your face bro… think real hard before you get disfigured. A WARNING to YOU. Yes , NO survivors, traitors need to handled accordingly. You look a little old to be running your mouth too old man, don’t get your hip broke.

    1. @fah q Why on Earth should stimulus money be tied to an investigation? Two different matters, two different bills–that is how the law works.

    2. Yea, they fought the border fence, allowed cities to burn, statues be destroyed, and citizens to be harmed, but when somebody messed with their stuff, they went crazy. GOT THAT FENCE UP REAL QUICK

    3. @Sam Berg  Oh honey, no. I have seen the footage, the numbers, the statistics, and the testimonies. After 4 years of Russiagate bs, a year of BLM/antifa riots going ignored while the left constantly shuttered in fear over potential right wing violence that never came, and rising gun sales (many of which are older first time black gun owners because of the failures of democratic leadership to deal with the pimples of society), you think I am the one misled?
I spent most of last year doing nothing but watching news media from all sources. My favorite part was actually the false claims Trump was trying to “suppress” mail in voting by stating the truth. UNIVERSAL mail in ballots would do nothing but permit wide spread fraud. Nevermind the videos of these fake ballots being wheeled in or the sworn testimony of thousands of people. Even without the talk of fraud, there was no need for massive mail in ballots. Absentee ballots are a thing. Early voting was a thing. Hell, my location even let people vote in their cars if they felt so inclined. But go ahead, keep believing that a bunch of rejects rioting, looting stores, and fighting over toilet paper can’t take their asses to the polls like they did to Walmart the week before. It’s ok. I understand it’s hard to fight against the captivating droop in Pelosi’s alcoholic stare.

Never heard those things? Now I know you aren’t being honest. Between the sjws screaming into the sky and American Horror Story parodying the election you can’t be serious. I saw it all unfold first hand at my college when my university offered /Grief Counseling/ after Trump was elected. Nevermind the fact that Trump was done/said nothing against any minority (or the handicapped man people like to take out of context). People were also convinced we would be dropping bombs on N Korea. Instead he had the balls to GO there and meet with Kim Jong-Un himself.

As for Trump himself, yes, he has done things I do not like. No one that supports him actually thinks he’s some benevolent being. However, unlike most that just blindly believe whatever the media says, I educated myself on the man. I watched videos about his life and interviews with him over the last 40 years. That is how I know Who he is and What he believes. I am not a fragile snowflake. He’s a businessman. He’s a mogul. He’s rich and he’s crude. He doesn’t drink, smoke, or gamble but has a weakness for women. I don’t care about his locker room talk or his affairs. At least his happened years ago and not in the oval office. But while we are on the topic of sexual assault allegations, let’s not forget that even Kamala even called out good ole creepy Joe for his saying She Believed Her. One step further, at least Trump likes women. Unfortunately the entire Biden family seems to have a “minor” problem. Between sniffing hair and sniffing coke off asses…yikes man. Or wait…is the FBI not a credible source? It’s getting really hard to tell with you poor TDS sufferers. I have yet to hear a Trump supporter equivalent. Closest I’ve gotten was a Copeium prescription.

Either way, maybe you should worry about yourself. One can only sleep for so long.

  1. It’s kinda strange watching your own country fall apart into division and chaos. This usually happens in movies and history books.

    1. @Kara Anderson What suggested to you that we are currently unarmed? The fact that people illegally took firearms into the Capitol with the intention of executing Pence and Pelosi?

  2. The situation is alarming and confusing.what is at stake is danger to democracy. People with voting power have to be conscientious. God save the great American democracy.the whole world is watching.

    1. I think the problem there is racist hiding behind names like “patriot”,” Conservative”, “we the people” etc. You saw their true colors after they pretend to support law enforcement for an entire year, just to turn around and kill one over an election. Even worse, people in that country will justify that, but turn around and call South Africans primitive 🙈🙌🏾🙋🏾‍♂️

    1. @T D Nor Democrat domestic terrorist. Of course if anyone believes anything cnn has to say has to be part of the nazi machine . I suppose next step is breaking conservative business windows and writing conservative on the walls. Do we have to wear a patch? Remember this you communist bastards, we have a huge army of God fearing people who will protect our freedoms.. Don’t tread on Me….

  4. Love how Jim has on an “end hunger now” mask. If they cared so much they would have given us more than $600 stimulus.

    1. @kheindl100 Politicians FORCING businesses to close and FORCING people to stop working for their paychecks and then doing NOTHING for them is what is un-American. How about you look at the greed of corporations and the politicians that sell us out to them and China. Your ignorance is disgusting and un-American.

    2. @Trevor Rogers pay those who directly lost jobs and ONLY those. u think they r the only ones who ever lost a job due to forces outside their control? what extra assistance did they get? none. 10 months. give me a break stupid

    3. This is so ignorant… Jim supports bigger checks but he’s not dictator of America so he can’t just wave a wand and make it happen. How do you think government works??

    1. Alex Jones, is that you? I thought you were battling imaginary, “interdimensional child molesters from space” somewhere in the final frontier? Hmm. Good to see you, though.

    2. Its s Great “CNN” wants to follow “Constitution ” .. TRUMP CALL “The Insurrection Act of 1807 is a United States federal law that empowers the President of the United States to deploy U.S. military and federalized National Guard troops within the United States in particular circumstances, such as to suppress civil disorder, insurrection or rebellion.” HE CAN BY LAW ..

    1. @imouse1 Google and Amazon alone are more dangerous and powerful than Russia. If they can shut down the president of the United States they can breach the computer at the Pentagon and Kremlin. Who do you think owns the Satellites that guide the missiles?

  5. You cant wear a ”End Hunger Now” mask when your overfed pelican neck is bulging out from under it. Just sayin’

  6. The presidential power of pardon needs to be abolished. There’s no bigger potential obstruction of justice than a presidential pardon.
