The degree of bureaucratic bungling by these jobsworths is staggering. But what I’ve seen of American political, legal and law-enforcement systems over the last few years of a world spotlight has been equally mind-boggling. Not a man-jack of them could find their own behinds with both hands and a set of instructions.
Well, if your concerned about invasion, the one up side to our insane gun laws are that is the one contingency they were made for. Any invading force would have to face off with a nation of abosolute crazy people who are armed in ways no civilian should be. What’s really unsettling is that these gun toting maniacs are better shots then most people in uniforms.

I was at the capitol and it was a peaceful protest just like the antifa and blm protests over the last year. No sneakers or TV’s were looted.
Most of the people who didn’t storm the Capitol were there to express their feelings & to do so non violently. That is their right. But the 800 or so who did have some pretty serious charges to confront. They were anything but non violent.

Do not expect much resolution when co-conspirators are in charge of the change.
there are many points that must be clarified, like why flynn’s brother refused to send them in on that call, why the police were so woefully unprepared and told not to fire. had it been a crowd of poc, there would have been nat’l guard troops by the thousands, weapons drawn before anyone even reached the steps. it would have been a killing field that day.
It wasn’t just him on the call, but the Army’s choice to deny his presence needs investigating. Trump is most at fault. He was the only one with instant, unilateral power to send the Guard & call off the attackers. Next is his last minute Secretary of Defense who makes a lame attempt to blame his own hesitation on an approval process he claims was put in place due to the Guard’s overreaction to Lafayette Square. As for the inadequate preparation & possible complicity, beforehand- it seems like there’s a lot of blame to go around.
Also, masses of BLM protesters wouldn’t delude themselves into thinking they could “storm the Capitol”, with impunity.
