  1. Yeah, the thought of basing this on 2019 income is criminal, plain and simple. Of course, we’ve always known that mainstream politicians could not care less about if people can afford food and rent….

    1. @Tidbit haha! Ok…which Trump executive order was illegal? Which was unconstitutional? Just give me one of each. Easy.

    2. @DAVE MAURER The border wall EO was totally unconstitutional and was therefore illegal. Bang! Two birds, one stone.

    3. @DAVE MAURER Well that proves that you don’t know the US Constitution, so you mustn’t be a real American. G’day Troll.

  2. People are so far under water from being unemployed for over a year, if the min wage isn’t raised it will take more than a decade to dig our way out.

  3. Thank you for letting the public know what Republicans are doing to take away the vote of American people. We need responsible fair Republicans not the party of Trump. Vote .

    1. Absolutely! People need to write their Senators no matter who they are to pass these bills. Then get involved with the people running in 2022. In my area the Sedition Caucus person is going to be primaried by a conservative Republican who believes in the Constitution.

  4. Isn’t it sad that she has to refer to paying someone $15 dollars an hr as “progressive and bold”! It’s a basic human right to get paid a living wage ffs

    1. Two fake Dems including WV and the Republicans who make $180K a year don’t see $15 as too much for small businesses.

    2. @Elle Peah
      You’re not making any sense?
Me thinks 🤔this is a great example of:
If “You” can’t Dazzle them with Brilliance Baffle them with bull s***!!! 🤣🙈

  5. $15 x 40 hours/week = ((600/week x 35%) (state 7% & fed taxes28%)) = ($390/wk x 52 weeks) = $20,280/yr (does not begin for 5 yrs: 2027)
    Where I live $1200/month 1-bed apartment rent so $390 x 4 = $1560 – 1200 so $360 month food, bills, health insurance etc… Living wage???

  6. Imagine? Next Christmas? When you’re allowed to attend a gathering, in person. Can drive safely there, without worrying about the civil unrest on the streets. When there are no miles long food bank cues to drive by, and you’re not worrying about a vulnerable relative dropping dead . . . Then ask anyone: “Would you rather this, or a return to the madness of last year?” I bet I know the answer? ✌️

  7. when will Progressives learn to speak the correct wording…. the minimum wage, and the stimulus money is required to keep the economy going… it’s economic engine fuel… without it… we’re headed for economic collapse, believe that

  8. I hope you have an amazing 2021,Please repent because Jesus is coming soon

Like so more people can see this.

  9. Thank you Representative Jaypal!
    We are with you!
And thank you for bringing attention the immigrant issue, especially what ICE was doing between 2017-2020.

  10. I am glad they kept the $15 min. wage for workers to get them above the poverty level. But how about all of us elderly & disabled who are on Social Security? Most of us are only making $7.50 or less per hour! We are the forgotten group of humans that have to try to survive way below the poverty level. Please remember us too!!!

  11. You won, repeal tRump tax bill and money will flow into government. This will pay for necessary expenses.
