The lies that the GOP and Trump are burying our country in must be prosecuted – we deserve better.

  9. So how are they gonna spin this?

    • Eli Beserra, I’m not even sure they’ll bother trying. I mean, I’m sure Hannity already has a script written, but what’s the point. There is no amount of evidence that will ever sway people that are still on the Trump train.

  10. Because of Trump, Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch’s life was truly in danger. The Republican party is a full blown criminal organization at this point, and Trump is it’s crime boss.
Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch should testify as a victim of a crime in the Senate trial. Rudy has already admitted in an interview that he had Ambassador Yovanovitch removed from her posting in Ukraine because she was getting in the way of Trump’s bribery scheme.

Ambassador Yovanovitch should be suing Trump, Rudy, Pompeo, and Mulvaney, for placing her life in danger. She should also sue everyone who had a hand in her removal. She should sue them for the damage that was done to her career and her reputation. She’s already has Rudy’s admission of guilt in the interview that he gave.

Can I just mention that Trump n’ Rudy are exemplars of why it’s become usual to retire by the age of 65?

    • in the west the retirement age is increasing , too many old people to pay retirement too

We know that physical and mental exercise extends a persons healthy years big time so it’s not really fair to compare two ultra-rich do nothings to the rest of the world.

Trump is so healthy his pants have to be four sizes too big so he doesn’t muffin top and he doesn’t consistently go on unhinged rants where he lies about literally everything and can barely string together coherent sentences. Lmfao.

    • @Darth Obscurity and chicken wings makes him fly 😉

The worse things get for America, the more brilliant Putin’s plan seems to be. He is a three dimensional chess master. Initially I thought using Trump as a weapon to destroy America by rigging the election’s’ vulnerable voting machines was a brilliant idea, but I didn’t realize that the weapon Trump represents is a cluster bomb. Each bomblet goes out to every aspect of Western society and does it’s damage. People don’t believe news reports no matter how solid the evidence of their veracity. The truth itself is now in question. All our institutions have been damaged including elections, so people no longer trust the results, and see all elected officials as likely compromised. Trump and the GOP commit serious crimes right in the open and nothing is done, making people lose all trust in our justice systems. Law enforcement made it clear that they were nothing but criminal gangs with badges long ago. Will there be anything left of our Western civilization when this is over, and will it ever be over? All we can be certain of is chaos it seems.

One has to really wonder why is Rudy Giuliani still a free man?

  14. Alvinius Alviniathan | January 15, 2020 at 12:55 AM | Reply

Rudy ghouluani is a former United States attorney. His crimes make it all the more awful given his past title.

    • Audrey Kennedy | January 15, 2020 at 6:55 AM | Reply

Why is Rudy still a lawyer??!

But Rudy is Also a Mafia Lap Dog Boss in disguise… that’s Not Hidden anymore, it’s how he made his Money ..

Don’t be surprised when we find out, Rudy was apart of the 911 scheme…
It’s coming Out eventually as Trump is probably involved as well ….

  15. If we fail at this impeachment as a country say good bye to any respect or leading this world as a super power. Putin’s plan the whole time.

You are so right this was playing the whole time and I’ll President helped him out that is so wrong they got to find some way to get Trump out of the White House he needs to go he’s a danger to all of us

    • Darth Obscurity – seems a nice man, but he’s too old (I’m old, so I know, the energy levels aren’t what they were) to be the vigorous statesman that is needed for the Herculean task ahead. The presidency ages the people who hold it very fast (except Trump, who doesn’t take it seriously or put in the work). NowBernie ten years ago, maybe.

    • @Darth Obscurity Bernie ain’t it. I will vote for him if that’s all we got (anybody but Trump) but there are no good candidates at this time that can do what you are talking about. Bernie is OK but he’s not all that. Just an old guy whos been in politics too long. Doesn’t he loose every election?

America has turned into a full blown kleptocratic mafia state

  17. WTF is Trump’s personal business in Ukraine? Is he not busy enough that he has time to send a private attorney to Ukraine?

  18. Parslow Pongbert | January 15, 2020 at 2:21 AM | Reply

Chris Hayes: “lets talk about Rudy Giuliani”. That’s a good title for the inevitable film about trump and his other Russian mafia agents.

Victoria Toensing also just happens to be one of the lawyers representing… you guessed it… Dmitry Firtash…

  20. The law has to be rewritten after the Trump presidency to prevent the next elected crook doing whatever he wants under the cover of the law.

    • I think there should be a law that any President that lies on a tv or radio interview, or to the public in anyway should be dealt with the same as lying under oath in a trial. I feel that he should be held to a higher standard than anyone else. I don’t care what party there are affiliated with. They swear an oath to the people, and so should be under oath at all times. They wanna lie privately to their friends and family I don’t care but to us it’s different.
