House Speaker Nancy Pelosi: 'I'm Not Trying To Run Out The Clock' On Impeachment | MSNBC

  1. Yes, she is trying to run out the clock, it’s so obvious even she is having trouble defending it now.

    1. @UK Media Warrior , yup the morning session with the California Rep , but Mueller Corrected his answer the moment the 2nd part of the session started , you wont see that on MSNBC or CNN

    2. @Beachdudeca That was also explained. Mueller had time constraints and no cooperation from trump. A subpoena would take nearly 2 years. However, he explains the report is damning enough and invites congress to subpoena trump.

    1. Say she impeached him. The Senate refuses to convict, then he claims he was exonerated. Now his base is supercharged in 2020. He’d win again.

    2. @DoctorMeh that’s speculation…he has compromised his position…he should be impeached plain and simple.

    1. i love folk that can’t show their face.. but talk out the side of their neck..i guess the path to impeachment for some is unsophisticated.. or they’re just putin trolls..

  2. She’s not trying, she IS running down the clock. At one point she’s going to say something along the lines of “in the spirit of a fair election we can not impeach”

    1. @Kevin Preston true but it would put an ugly label on trump, on top of exposing him. That would be worse case scenario l. Best case scenario would be his removal and imprisonment.

    2. @Kevin Preston the fact is that there is strong evidence that donald committed crimes and they should be investigated, as we would be. If it comes to him being exonerated good for him and his supporters. However, he shouldn’t be given a pass because of politics.

  3. Better headline: “politician trying to run out the clock on impeachment claims she’s not trying to run out the clock on impeachment”

    1. @Kevin Preston Because otherwise she’s doing nothing. To paraphrase: All that evil requires to triumph, is for good men, women AND THOSE IN A POSITION OF AUTHORITY TO DO SOMETHING to do nothing.
Plus, she has a history of weakness. You don’t a thousand democratic seats across the country since 2008 without at least being a failure.

  4. I get the idea of preparing as much as you can, but time is not on their side, so at some point in the hopefully very near future they need to say that it’s now, or never, go with what they have, and hope to collect some more along the way. Also if they don’t move to impeach, they stand the risk that so many of the swing voters that voted Democrat in 2018 as a way to oppose Trump, just won’t vote at all in 2020, and Trump could very well win again.

    1. Tessmage Tessera You mean like “Poll Numbers”? The same poll numbers that showed hillary winning by a landslide?……those numbers? LMAO!

  5. We all know she’s too scared to do anything, that’s why she’s running out the clock, they have all they’re going to get without impeachment we need to see real action but petrified Pelosi is afraid of trump

  6. MSNBCannibals plan to set off several >50 Megaton nukes on the Continent of Antartica to raise the sea level 10-20ft to crash the world economy because *Orange MAN BAD!!*

  7. Please dems, pick a new leader of the party!! One that better represents the current demographics of the party!!!!!!

  8. It’s gotten to the point where Pelosi is not to be trusted by the American People………sigh…..
