  1. And trump wants to reopen schools. Will Trump resign with the first kid/parent/teacher who dies after school reopening in a country where the curve is still increasing exponentially because of failure in early containment of the spread ? No. He’ll find someone to blame.

The situation is dire? Apparently the miracle that the president promised is a hoax.

  3. Richard Owens | July 13, 2020 at 9:05 AM | Reply

Notice, how none of the GOP politicians show the slightest concern about the loss of lives to COVID-19, while they’re entirely focused on reopening the economy, no matter what the cost! Sociopaths – all of them!

@Richard Owens Test for Past Infection (Antibody Test) | CDC
      Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
      If you test positive
A positive test result shows you may have antibodies from an infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. *However, there is a chance a positive result means that you have antibodies from an infection with a virus from the same family of viruses (called coronaviruses), such as the one that causes the common cold.*

@Crystal Giddens Hey Crystal. Do you understand how viruses work? Did it ever occur to you that the presence of Covid-19 might actually complicate a preexisting condition that leads a person to die? And THAT’s why they are calling a death with the presence of Covid-19 in the body a ‘Covid death’? That’s why they have said pretty much since day one people with pre-existing conditions are at a higher risk of dying. But you won’t put THAT link up, will you?

Can you do us a favor, seriously. Can you stop trying to prolong this issue by pretending it doesn’t exist and trying to find facebook groups or doctored you tube videos that support your confirmation bias? Just wear a stinking mask. It’s so much easier. We’ll all be okay. Why do you want to get sick or possibly get others sick? Just why? How about those people who attend “Covid parties” to prove that the virus is a hoax, and then end up in the hospital or dead? You have a bunch of time to search Youtube, why don’t you look up some of those stories? Jesus what does it take to get through to you people??

Hmm, who should we listen to? The scientists and doctors who dedicate their lives to studying pandemics and how to handle them? Or, the man in the White House who recently had to prove he knows the difference between a cow, a rhinocerous, and a camel?

    • @Crystal Giddens You should say a prayer for all the dead healthcare workers who have died fighting this instead of sucking on the heroin of “being right”. Your attempts at altering reality serve no one.

@Toussaint Chivars I wish that were true, but sadly it’s not. Turkey was recently a Democracy – but, not anymore. They now have a fascist dictator who is very much like Trump, only with a three digit IQ. The same with Venezuela. The same with Brazil. The most dangerous pandemic of all is fascism – and, it is on the rise all over the planet. And, fascists care NOTHING about the people over whom they rule.

You will never know how many people died at home either because they didn’t have the money for the treatment or they were just plain scared to go into the hospital, especially since all they know is steroids, antivirals and Tylenol.

  6. Texas has an inept governor who only takes his cues from the orange clown in the white house!

    • Hey the orange clown can drink from a cup 1 handed! 1 handed! Isn’t that amazing??? Trump 2020 MAGA!!!!

    • Governor Abbot learned the lesson that folding to Trump’s desperate attempts to get the US economy going again is a huge mistake. The voters in Texas have suffered evangelical idiots in their governor’s mansion since the late Ann Richards left office.

    • And the liberals who support the murder of Gods precious gift of life don’t? Think before you start mouthing off about “blood on someone’s hands”. Those who endorse abortion will pay dearly for their foolish, selfish, brutal, cold hearted support of this wicked, ungodly act!!! Wickedness is everywhere on this earth and nothing is more wicked than snuffing the life out of an innocent helpless child of God!!!

The ignorance of some Americans is what killing them, there believe a dummy like trump than those doctors like Dr fauci

    • @Crystal Giddens Things change, like the novel virus. We can’t turn the clock back but we can put on our masks and go on from here. There was a time that Dr.’s weren’t concerned about smoking, not because they were idiots, they didn’t have the whole picture. I wouldn’t refuse medical care or advice from them because they used to think differently, until more sophisticated research and tools became available. If ever we need to move forward and think about our futures, it’s now.

    • @Heather Hent444 What rights are they giving up? I don’t understand, the right to refuse a mask? Potentially infecting or being infected is not a right, if that’s what you are referring to.

    • @Heather Hent444 Yep, holding them accountable has to happen otherwise there is no reason to have a mandate. It’s strange that there are all different rules, or none, everywhere. My daughter is a teacher in Spain and she was happy that the government did a full 4 month lockdown. The virus was devastating the country and it had to stop. Generally people followed the rules because they didn’t want to go back in lockdown, not to mention their desire for self preservation and that of others. If ever a time she appreciated direction, it was then. Same regulations for everyone, period!! The majority of Spainards do what is right for their loved ones. There relationships of all kinds are precious. They praise their elders and do the right thing on their own, not because they fear the government. I think their moral compasses direct their actions, thinking about others in a selfless way, unlike many Americans who seem to struggle with that mentality.

Avoid restaurants, hotels, planes, airports and crowded spots until we can control the spread of this virus.
Wear mask in public places and stay away from crowds.
People have to care for people.

    • I see a crowd, I turn around. To me, deliberately going to join a crowd is like running into a burning building. Even firefighters take extreme care before entering a burning building and I’m no firefighter!

  17. as long people walk around without masks the virus is going to keep spreading.

  18. When you take the word of greedy Republican politicians over the word of medical and science professionals, this is the tragic result.😔

  19. In a zombie apocalypse I think Trump would still say “open the schools or else funding stops!!”

  20. Hello Houston, we have a problem: President Trump’s incompetence and lack of leadership.
