If Russia is allowed to remain in the United Nations, it should be removed from the United Nations Security Council because the seat it currently occupies was guaranteed to the Soviet Union, not itself. Russia and Ukraine were both parts of the Soviet Union. Ukraine has as much right to the former Soviet Union’s UN Security Council seat as Russia does.
