    1. Lund.. here’s a tip for you einstein. If you’re trying to be witty, it usually involves being funny. What a stupid comment

    2. @velvet gmblr That comment Lund gave was the funniest thing since trump answering questions earlier today!!😂 Dont be mad that your president is an idiot and is compared to children, it’s his own fault!😜😁

    3. @The Tweatles Grow up before engaging in an adult conversation!! You’re no different than trump himself!!

  1. There’s nothing controversial about putting children at risk. If there’s a chance that a child might get harmed, any fair minded parent would not take that path so the answer is clear here 🧐😷

    1. Any parent with a child of age risk of contracting PMIS (I have two) must be in desperate fear of Betsy Devos’ idiocy. She is utterly incompetent. And openly hoping for the dismemberment of public education so the bottom 20% can live in a world that hasn’t been seen in this country since the days of ten year olds in coal mines.

If her plan (and calling it that is a gift, she has no plan, just threats of punitive action) on reopening is put into action children will die, slowly, painfully and alone. You worry about your father or mother dying alone in a hospital room, what about your five year old? That’s it. What more needs to be said?

    2. Funny how playgrounds are open, parks are open, parents taking their kids to see the hate group BLM but schools should be closed HAHAHAHAH. Hypocrisy at it’s finest.

    1. @takecare A they don’t really need to stop either, because kids die more from the common flu than they do from head lice and coronavirus combined

    2. @Sham Rock any parent who puts their kids on hormone blockers or dresses their 2 year old sons in dresses should.have their kids taken away and they should be jailed for negligence. Im glad you’re for the govt taking peoples children. Just Wait until the day people are in the govt that you don’t like and they take.yours or your granbabies

    3. @apple pie don’t ask these people legit questions with facts attached. 😂 the media told them what to believe already. The media never lies. Orange man bad. I don’t have to research anything… The sky is falling… Cnn told me so

    4. @Facade_Games I thought hospitals were supposed to be overrun and 2mil people dead in US by July. They were a bit off. Youre just gonna blindly believe them?

    1. Is that why Doctor Snyder is sending his patients who test positive for Covid-19 to pediatric hospitals?

    2. BREAKING NEWS…
The risk to students of re-opening schools is quite small. For instance, more kid’s drown than die from Coronavirus.

  2. If this is where RICH kids go, I wonder about the conditions in inner city schools. I am also concerned about the health of the nurses, teachers, and school administrators. Regrettably, I think they are gambling with the lives of the children of America without adequate information. Good Luck!

    1. Luke Marohn thank you at least one person in these comments knows that. These other people are becoming scared little sheep and won’t to be controlled by the government like China

    2. Well democrats voted against school choice so you can thank them for keeping underprivileged kids in failing schools. You.voted.for it so you.deal with it

  3. I really feel for these educators. Of course they want to keep their jobs and teach the kids, but it’s so hard to do it safely.

    1. Easy to teach safely. Distance learning

The hard part is kids at home. Lots of families dont have the resources for kids to stay home.

  4. If you’re assuming kids are safe, how often have most of them been exposed to indoor groups for extended periods during a major outbreak? Are they just guessing?

    1. Kids are completely safe, more children under the age of 15 have died from the common flu than the coronavirus since the beginning of the year, and the flue doesn’t even come around in the summer

      OPEN THE SCHOOLS

    2. They showed you the studies :S Singapore kept schools open during their outbreak, so Australia & many successful European countries followed

    3. @Luke Marohn
Maybe that’s because children have not been in schools? Hmmm? I agree with most people that we need to get the kids back in school, but we need to do it safely, and that does not mean HOPING that there is no problem. It needs to be worked out among parents, local school districts, and health experts.

    4. @Jock Young doesn’t it still seem a little lopsided given the fact that the flu goes away in the summer and STILL 5 TIMES more kids have died from the flu

    5. @Luke Marohn but the infection rate is higher than the flu.

Kids are just as vulnerable as adults.
The only reason y cases are so low for kids is because they stay at home.

U don’t see too many kids at Protest, Bars, Restaurants, Jobs, Business, Rallies, or Beaches.

  5. This will be tons easier for these small, well funded private schools than it will be for overcrowded, desperately underfunded public schools.

    1. @Adox Artist I agree with that, but like it or not children are more likely to be killed by the flu than by covid. So if we don’t shut down schools in flu season why now when kids are at less risk would we shut down

    2. BREAKING NEWS…
The risk to students of re-opening schools is quite small. For instance, more kid’s drown than die from Coronavirus.

    3. @American Patriot more kids have also died from the common flu than covid since the beginning of the year

    4. Oh FFS…. *”How easily CAN children contract and spread coronavirus?”* … Nice hypothetical there, fake news. How about looking at studies, or other countries where children have not been banned from returning to school? Try looking at the German study, TRY LOOKING AT ANY REAL EVIDENCE INSTEAD OF JUST SPREADING LIES AND HYPOTHETICALS!! THIS IS WHY YOU, CNN ARE FAKE NEWS….

  6. Wait a damn minute ! Our gov’t releases inmates from jails/prisons due to dangers of contracting CV-19, but it’s *NOT* the same level of dangerous for our kids to be confined to classrooms/cafeterias? 🤔 😳. 😂

    1. @Tom McDermott
Are you implying that the lack of response from the federal government which is causing the cases to rise (botched) is all a hoax?

    2. BREAKING NEWS…
The risk to students of re-opening schools is quite small. For instance, more kid’s drown than die from Coronavirus.

    3. American Patriot – Yes, but that still doesn’t mean we don’t take actions to prevent spread of infection

    4. @American Patriot unless the alternative to schools is throwing kids in pools, that’s irrelevant.

  7. Anyone who has kids, has had to baby sit kids or been around kids knows that kids are walking disease vectors.

    1. James Marlowe : They need to stop changing death certificates, if this virus was real they wouldn’t need to change them

    2. I guess they are cleaner in Europe? lol DEFUND THE TEACHERS & THE SCHOOLS IF THEY DON”T RE-OPEN! Kids are not getting, dying from this and are NOT superspreaders! Fire all the teachers and give the American public their Taxes back! Use the money saved, to fund private charter schools, if they allow anyone to register for the charter school to learn a real curriculum, like math & English, not how to Hate America! These political demands from the Teacher Unions in Cali to defund the Police, etc. are pathetic. They don’t care about the kids, they are Dem political plants that need to be replaced!

    3. Hilarious how this guy Gupta is talking to, touches his mask right at the nose / mouth area, pulls it up, then walks through a door touching the same frame everyone does. If he had Cv19, his Virus germs were right there for Gupta (or whoever) to touch and everyone thinks masks work. if you think, kids wearing masks will work, U need to give your head a shake! Let them get on with this herd Immunity, it will happen, don’t understand why we are trying to delay the inevitable?

    4. @Pam Deshane I disagree with you on herd immunity, but you nailed it re the mask! Melbourne Australia is currently dealing with a second wave caused by EXACTLY what you just watched on this video! Security guard pulled down his mask like that & then handled a borrowed cigarette lighter & numerous security guards got infected & then spread it in their homes to extended families & from there it went into the community.

Anyone that thinks wearing bits of contaminated medical waste on their faces like this guy in the video will protect them is delusional & dangerous!
Obviously children under 18 should NOT be wearing masks!

  8. Disaster waiting to happen. Exposing the virus to kids will lead to a more merciless mutation. Fear this virus!

    1. Thuku ; They need to stop changing death certificates, If this virus was real they wouldn’t need to change them

    2. Hilarious how this guy Gupta is talking to, touches his mask right at the nose / mouth area, pulls it up, then walks through a door touching the same frame everyone does. Let them get on with this herd Immunity, it will happen, don’t understand why we are trying to delay the inevitable?

    3. @Pam Deshane studies have shown herd immunity is probably not possible. keep up with your facts.

  9. Two basically uncontrolled case studies do not constitute “a lot of evidence.” Saying so constitutes magical thinking!

    1. And from Sweden of all places. All aspects of Sweden’s response – political, scientific, and geographical – are different. On 7/10 they had 110 new cases. We had 67,000. They have the population of New York City, but the size of California. Trying to use “studies” from Sweden to apply to what even a single state should do is ignorant.

    2. @Be Kind “people”? adults or kids? classroom or pick up/drop off? The current Melbourne school cluster is showing that while the kids at the school got it, they didn’t get it at the school, but in the community & just happened to be at the same school, cause it was a religious school that was linked to the families that were the cause of the outbreak

    3. @Russell Thorburn
The reason masks haven’t been worn for 500 years is because they do nothing. The transmissions are 90% in the bathroom with the remaining in small areas (hospital room)

    4. @themooch You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. You clearly conflate the physics of a 125nm particle in a vacuum with the real-world transmission characteristics of COVID via mucus and fluid carriers. You are 100% wrong.

  10. It’s gonna be developmentally traumatic if small children are punished for the urge to be together in the close proximity. ADULTS IN THE NATION MUST SAY NO TO OPENING SCHOOLS PREMATURELY.

    1. Kristi : People in America must say NO to this bs virus hoax. The CDC Confesses to Lying About COVID-19 Death Numbers

The CDC Confesses to Lying About COVID-19 Death Numbers, Fake death data, CDC, coupled with wild guesstimates from experts, relentless barrage of fear porn the mainstream media subjects Americans

    2. Kristi : They need to stop changing death certificates, If this virus was real they wouldn’t need to change them. It’s AGENDA 21

    3. Yeh this was discussed in NSW Australia (where the study showing it’s safe is from), some people even suggested child care workers should be social distancing with teh kids, to which the reply was “how do you change a nappy from 1.5 metres away?” In the end schools & childcare centres were just fully exempt from all social distancing requirements & allowed to return to normal, except for staff rooms & pick up/drop off, where adults met, social distancing was required there.
Here’s a video of how Aussie schools are using zoom during lockdown

  11. “I lost my job a school as custodial maintenance. Because after weeks during the initial first wave of Covid19. The school was unable to fully protect or fund us fully through payrolls. If they couldn’t afford our safety as a small crew of workers. How can they assure safety for a large student body prone to being super spreaders.”
    -A.H. Roberts

    1. I’m guessing you worked at a public school where they are making demands that they need to be met. Such as cutting the police funds and giving them the money

  12. He should be interviewing inner city school principals not this “elite private school” headmaster. The 10 percent will probably be okay it’s the rest of the population that is at risk.

    1. Wth are you talking about, no ones at risk. This coronavirus is as deadly as a flu season. Stop being a dumb sheep

  13. Anyone who is or was a parent know how kids bring home various viruses throughout the school season.

  14. That is a small school, what about schools in inner cities, with a lot more children and staff, this is a bad idea

  15. I have two children in grade school that are constantly sick during the school year and I guarantee that everything they get, we ALL get.

    1. I understand completely. I am 13, and i have been homeschooled for a while, but my sister just started homeschooling last year, and before that, we were constantly sick during the school year.
