Republicans approve of the American farmer, but they are willing to help him go broke. They stand four-square for the American home — but not for housing. They are strong for labor — but they are stronger for restricting labor’s rights. They favor minimum wage — the smaller the minimum wage the better. They endorse educational opportunity for all — but they won’t spend money for teachers or for schools. They think modern medical care and hospitals are fine — for people who can afford them. They consider electrical power a great blessing — but only when the private power companies get their rake-off. They think American standard of living is a fine thing — so long as it doesn’t spread to all the people. And they admire of Government of the United States so much that they would like to buy it.

    2. Mueller’s testimony proved that there was no collusion between Trump, the Trump campaign and the Russians. We also have newly declassified information from a briefing given to President Obama and others at the White House that the Russian thing was crafted by Hillary to take the heat off of her careless handling of classified documents and her unprotected servers. There was no Russian involvement between Trump. This has been proven through congressional testimony.

    1. The world has actually gotten smaller
The concept of civilization is changing
Western Civilization is going to be the most influential in the coming century

    2. Who do you think said that?
I know it was in Bertrand Russell’s book, History of Western Civilization
He had asked Krishnamurti, I think.
      Some great thinker

  1. The only thing that I don’t like about Truman is the first 4 letters of his name.
Too close to you know who. …

Gramps take your overweight old body to Wal-Mart and get some partial acknowledgements from their greeter.

  2. But you see, this is EXACTLY what we need, if we have someone who no one can get to to feed their ego or manipulate then they truly are a man of their own, doing things of their own accord, and they can’t be bought and sold. If no one approves of you, then you’re looking for no one’s approval, you’re just looking to do the right thing, the best thing…

  3. Where’s Trump Presidential Lie -Bury gonna be built coz he lies so much? I betcha 98% of its content will be his Twitter feed and MAGA rallies videos.

  4. We just saved our Democracy by getting this dictator out!!!
The Republican party is now…ANTI DEMOCRACY!!!!

      Truman

    1. @William H. Baird Since Bush and maybe even earlier the dems fall since Clinton, all you have now is parasites and corporate tools.

    2. @Baxter Powel We just won the November 3rd election with more votes in American History and Joe Biden is a unifier! Watch and Learn how “Politics” is done correctly! Trumpette.

    4. @Baxter Powel Trump was an Epic Fail! Joe Biden will restore the countries economy and save lives! Watch & Learn Trunmpette! The Orange God disaster Is Over

  5. Is Trump saying that all the Republican Senators elected on the same November ballot should be thrown out ? You can’t have it both ways.
How do you want to leave the White House , under your own power……OR ????

  6. Why is it that every time you let a republican be president, they leave a huge mess for the next Democrat president to clean up?
I mean, I thought Bush was bad, but my goodness, Dumpster Fire Donnie really left a burning pile of crap for Biden.

  7. Mrs.Truman was asked, “Can you get the President to stop saying, ‘cow manure?'” Bess replied, “Do you know how how long it took me to get him to say, ‘cow manure’?”

  8. If Trump does not watch his step he might join that exclusive club of presidents you know Lincoln McKinley Garfield and Kennedy 😳

  9. I remember my dad telling me that after FDR died he thought “Oh my God, the country is in the hands of a high school drop-out.” But The Old Soldier came around to respecting Harry.

    1. Truman was the last President who never went to college. Now I do value a college education, but at the same time, doesn’t it make you think?

  10. This might be normal in the US, but from a European point of view, a host advertising his own book on his shows is a little fishy.

    1. Stan Lee was a more accurate historian. You’re better off reading Marvel Comics. Your response might be “you’ve been reading too many comic books.” My reply to that is “so has the Pentagon.”

  11. Trump was a rookie – he’s proven that time and time again. A sociopathic rookie, at that. The world will be better off without him.
