Huge container ship sinking off the coast of Sri Lanka, weeks after massive explosion

A massive container ship is sinking off the coast of Sri Lanka, weeks after an explosion ripped through the ship and set it ablaze.

The ship was carrying 25 tonnes of nitric acid among other cargo when the fire broke out on May 20.

  1. So nobody was killed? You guys need a bit more thorough journalism on this incident especially if it’s 2-weeks old and you provided utter poor details.

  2. All that destruction just for “money”. Money isn’t worth anything. Gold and silver yea have value but paper money is nothing. Those who think they got millions.. have nothing

  3. Why are they towing it rather than containing the spill? That looks like worse, not better. Oh well…. At least the fire is getting put out. 😏
