That blew my mind when I heard it. I’m in Alberta, Canada and our minimum wage is $15/hr. The nurses and caregivers deserve more than that.

That’s everywhere in this country we work hard we bust our butts RN LVN CNAs nurse practitioners doctors the janitors in the facility dietary in the facility laundry room in the facility cna’s working in hospice in Texas only get paid $13 an hour and sometimes they don’t even have PPE for you as a provider you get paid $10 an hour and you’re going into homes where there are lots of family members in the home no insurance praying to God that you don’t bring anything back to your family but what can you do cuz you need to keep working to provide for your family every nurse in this country needs to stand up and demand more pay doesn’t matter what party you are for what state you live in we are working Americans and we need help
