I’m being very serious so please do not read any sarcasm into this.
Hurd is a former Republican representative from that district. He chose not to run again. He was also part of the CIA. So I think he would be a great person to get for this job.
Desperate people don’t care. But I agree with the former Congressman from Texas. I’m a Texan, have a lot of Latinos friend, and believe me he knows what he’s talking.
Biden has to be humane, but strong.
Any kind of weakness real or perceived will cause

I like Hurd’s idea of fixing things where people live. It feels like a more fleshed out version of what I’ve heard Biden say he plans to do. It would be great if Hurd could do the job. If he didn’t want to do it, maybe Beto would?
So where is Mexico in all of this — why aren’t they being pressured to help the situation?

Hurd is 100% correct. The Republicans aren’t interested in solving the immigration problem. They have used immigration as a political weapon for too long to keep themselves in office. Biden needs to invite Hurd to have a conversation on solving the border problem. After spending multi billions to build a wall and billions to maintain it, the problem keeps worsening. Hurd has excellent ideas to fix the problem. Appoint him Czar…
