So true. Every time a little rain fall it becomes a river. Why do the hardworking taxpayers have to suffer such abuse. And yes it is a form of abuse. The stress that one has to go through when it rains along that stretch of the road is tantamount to emotional, physical, psychological and financial abuse.

I strongly believe that some parents just don’t want to have their children around them in their space. Imagine, the rain is falling so heavily and you took up yourself and carry your child to school knowing well that no one will be there. Seems like common sense is lacking or unuh just take teachers for one big pappy show.
@heretic_ the authorities are not responsible for your children, you are. You don’t need to call a principal to find out whether or not to send your child to school while we are experiencing bad weather from a hurricane.

I concur with course when covid did cause school closure ..you have parents who had all the resource and their children doing online..They were complaining that schools should open in the pandemic
At 46 Texas Avenue, Westchester, Saint Catherine, where I am ; my 2 neighbors (Beverley and Robin) did something weird : they filled up 2 bins leaving non for I for using. Now, in process of time, I asked you about such uncivilized act, plus speaking that from she did it, the solid water management did Not drive in there for a time, actually for 2weeks, therefore, when the vehicle came she was here, and I hastily called her in exclamation, but she(Beverley) took it as an offense. Hmm.. Remember she filled up both , she did not apologize for such act. God is in all . .
That makes no sense. It’s a hurricane, if they don’t have internet they can expect to have power outages. School closed of 2 days should not be a problem. Give them 1 day for the hurricane and 2nd to have the roads cleared and to make sure everyone is safe.
Government is stress. And is teachers dem stressing out. Some people not even get pay this month but dem a talk bout fi engage students online
Hurricane means no electricity. Means no internet. And you can’t say to use data, as that runs down your battery. And again, no electricity.
I pray that those children who made it out to school will get home safe

The sad part about all of this, is that the Roads were not good from morning 😪, so just imagine with that amount of water 💧. The Government doesn’t clean the Drain in a timely manner, and that’s why the roads look like a God damn River. Jamaica 🇯🇲, is just getting from bad to worst. The Government allows everything to just run down, while they fattening their pockets. What a set of baskets 🧺 of deplorable people. Jamaica 🇯🇲, needs a good Leader 👍 who will take the Country out of the Muck, and Mire.
No one that comes into power can help this country only God can.

There’s a lot of other Caribbean Islands 🏝 that doesn’t have the Murder Rate every frickin year, and it’s because of the Government that’s running Jamaica. It’s always a steady dose of Crime, Corruption, Crooked Politicians in Jamaica 🇯🇲. The crime situation will not go away completely, but it can be lowered if the Politicians were interested. They are the ones who are in Cahoots with the Criminals, and that’s why the Country is in this mess right now. Both JLP and PNP Party has failed Jamaica 🇯🇲 big time. They are root cause of the crime producers in Jamaica 🇯🇲. They were the ones who started to give out the guns to the youths, and now they can buy their own guns 🔫. They created a two headed monsters 👹 that they cannot control. God says, be wise as a serpent 🐍, and be harmless as a dove 🕊. Wisdom is the study of differences. Every single problem that Jamaica 🇯🇲 has right now is a Wisdom Problem. The Politicians are either Arrogant or Ignorant. I think it is both. They don’t know how to run a Country, and that’s a Wisdom problem. Couple that with being Narcissistic also, and that’s a recipe for disaster. They only care about staying in power 🔋 and fattening their pockets. Faith without work is dead 💀. You have to pray 🙏 and move. The amount of Churches in Jamaica 🇯🇲, what the heck you think that they are doing in the Churches? God will never give you anything that you have not pursued. God owes us nothing 🙏. Too much praying 🙏. It’s time for Actions. You have to fight fire 🔥 with fire 🔥. The Government is allowing Criminals to run the Country.
