    1. It’s called a pop-filter. They’re designed to keep wind from getting picked up on higher sensitivity microphones. In this case tho, you can’t really combat hurricane strength winds with a filter.

  1. That dead cat (that’s the furry microphone screen for those who think I’m a cat murder lover) is really earning its keep. I’m kind of amazed we can hear anything.
