When the mom said it was the best day of her life to have her son sitting next to her it brought tears to my eyes. We, in the U.S., take for granted those little, but significant, privileges like the ability to move around free and safely. Here in the US we’re not detained and jailed because the authorities believe we’re spies. Our homes are safe, not being bombed. Our loved ones are accounted for and safe. Our lives and liberties are precious but are also fragile.

This is very subjective not for everyone in the US but with that being said u have a chance to live a better life even if u are in a terrible upbringing or environment

Thank God he came home safe. As a mom of an adult son I just can’t imagine how scary it was. So glad this family is back together. 💖
