It’s embarrassing that they can’t make at least 14 bucks an hour. That alone should be the going rate for all people for start ups.

@Kyreem I’m sorry to hear that 🙁 I think our government utilizes our tax money in a way that benefits the people when they need it. I can’t imagine how someone could live on a single $600 payment, I hope there are lots of community resources for families. The benefit is $2000 a month which started in march, and I believe there was additional money for families with children. There was also a benefit for small business owners. We have superb healthcare, and we have free prescriptions for anyone who is 25 and under. I think America has the potential to take a lot better care of its citizens, you have 400 million people paying taxes, what are they doing with that money?
@hahaimabitch1 Thats what I always wonder about. America has such a large population, and you all pay lots of taxes (well except the top 1% and corporations) what does your tax money go to? Shouldn’t a portion be utilized to take care of Americans when they need it most.
@Crystal Newman Thank you! I keep asking myself that same question. I think the public opinion of paying taxes would shift if people saw it being used for relief when needed like now. It also seems like the brunt of taxes falls mostly outside the 1%. I don’t know how our former President paid less taxes than your average citizen for some of those years.

The only reason anyone working under Trump resigned at the end, was because they weren’t voted in, and they knew they’d get fired.
