    1. It normally takes only two of those three qualities to make a great person. Trebek was someone pretty special.
      R.I.P.

    1. @John Lee Thank you for being the definition of a hypocrite. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised you can’t even follow your own rules.

    2. We lost Trebek, Eddie Van Halen, Neil Peart, Sean Connery, Kirk Douglas, Kobe, Kenny Rogers, Jerry Stiller, Ken Hensley, Lee Kerslake (Uriah Heep) wow! Hopefully next year will be better.

    3. @Thomas Thorson Thank you for this. I, too, am aghast at the vitriol of the comments. Jeopardy and Alex Trebek are apolitical to my knowledge, an yet people just gotta keep spewing nonsense. As I indicated in my earlier comment, I guess haters just gotta hate. Frankly I’m exhausted from all the infighting, and I wish people would remember that we are all Americans, and that used to mean something. Maybe not anymore. Maybe that’s the real price we have paid in the last four years. As they say: “elections do have consequences.” Maybe the consequences of four years of Trump we forgot how to be that kind of America.

    4. @uncle Ricky John Lewis, and RBG. More than 235,000 Americans to Covid. Here’s hoping 2021 puts us on a brighter path. 2020 has definitely been a long and difficult year.

    1. Friends, if there is one episode of Jeopardy! to watch, it’s on Christmas Day. This is our fond farewell to one of the best to do it. Rest in Peace, Alex Trebek. You will be missed.

Here is the clue: “Farewell… and Thank You.”
Question: What is “How do you say goodbye to a Legend?”

  1. My prayers go out to Trebek’s family and the full Jeopardy cast. That show will never be the same without him.

    1. Answer: May his memory be a blessing.
Question: What is the correct thing to say when a Jewish man passes.

  2. Saw this news when it first broke out. My condolences go out to his family and close friends for his passing

    1. Fans, too, are hurting and sad…but insulated from the real pain that only comes with close association.

I live on the border you idiot!
Did you read my comments? I guess not… He was born in Canada and became a US Citizen in the late 80’s… That’s why he considered a Canadian AMERICAN.

    2. @Deborah Freedman In a 2019 interview, he said he was raised Catholic during his childhood and adolescence.

The Lord’s word says while we were yet his enemies he loved us.

      Hallelujah !!

    1. @Paul Somers I’m as sad as you. I will miss him dearly. There’s few men in this world with such a unique caliber as him.
I came here also to say..the things I’ve told you in my other comment are true.

    1. @Katie Carlson I honestly wouldn’t care. In the end absolutely nothing matters. Our lifes. Our deaths. Nothing. You say I’m trolling but I’m just dropping truths. You don’t like the truth so you get defensive and closed minded. A lot of people have died since I started typing this. Well you mourn for them?

    2. @Arun Raj Thier tears will be wasted. I hope they do not waste their feelings on me and learn to move on. A human dying is the same as an ant dying or a fly dying. We will all die one day so why act so surprised when it happens? You’re not surprised when the sun rises every morning right?

    3. Yes he was the greatest game show host ever besides the greatest game show period…..His legacy will live on forever…..I can’t believe he did the show October 29th and now he gone….I hope i can go out like that with character and dignity.

  5. I admire anyone who lives their life just the way they hoped for, and die peacefully In their most comfortable space. Well done Alex.
