'I Have Great Optimism' For The Country, Says Navy Four-Star Admiral | Morning Joe | MSNBC
This is what intelligent honorable people sound like- this has been missing for the past 4 years. Time to rebuild even while others continue to throw rocks at the builders……..nothing new.
Russia is massing troops on the border with Ukraine. Ukraine is threatening to take Crimea back by force.
China is threatening Taiwan and its neighbors while also threatening our ships and Navy.
N Korea is testing missiles again and restarting their nuclear weapons program.
Iran has been emboldened and making more than their normal threats.
Our southern border is a humanitarian disaster caused directly by this administration, and the administration that promised transparency is hiding it and not letting the media have access.
Ford is closing a plant and moving it to Mexico after just bringing it back from Mexico because of the current Administration’s plan for Increased taxes.
Price of steel up 145%, lumber 126%, wheat up 25%, food index up 25%, cotton 35%, silver 38%, copper 50%, soybeans 71%, oil 80%, etc, etc.
Pipeline jobs lost.
Wall construction jobs lost.
1.9 trillion in stimulus that funds the administrations pet projects and only paid a fraction to the people.
29 trillion in debt with 4.8 trillion projected 2021 deficit before the 2 trillion dollar stimulus proposed today for the new green deal. 🤦♂️
6+% unemployment with millions of job openings that can’t be filled because federal unemployment assistance makes it more advantageous for people to stay home than work.
All in the first 70 days.
The current president is a disaster. Hold on, the next 4 years are going to be rough .

Another “pet project” was ignoring the Climate Crisis and blaming new industries like Wind and Solar power for problems that DO NOT EXIST & trying to dismantle EPA protections. No fresh water, clean air or sustainable industries mean you are all going to be ‘without’ in the near future anyway (and the current president talked about bringing back steel industries to provide for the STIMULUS INFRASTRUCTURE PLAN. YOUR “GOD” WANTED INFRASTRUCTURE AS A “PET PROJECT” TOO- BUT that IS OKAY then??)…not forgetting all the coastal areas demolished from rising seas (there are places NOW where people have to flee due to the sea rising). Also your “pet projects” of blaming a government for 70 days to the unemployment rate when other countries who handled their pandemic correctly had half the RATE, a fraction of DEATHS and half the issues and are now open and running for business….just keep on ignoring how much of THOSE PERCENTAGES YOU QUOTE ARE DUE TO THE “GOLDEN GOD”… While you continue to blame all Democrats and think only Republicans are ‘gods’ then YOUR COUNTRY will continue to have problems because you need CO-OPERATION TO ACHIEVE ANYTHING (not division & chaos). My country is mostly bi-partisan on all the issues I’ve mentioned and we have had infrastructure programs completed by both sides over the last 4 decades….OUR ROADS ARE PRETTY GOOD, YOURS are terrible.
Our SOLAR & WIND & environmental “pet projects”- which have stimulated our economy, improved our quality of life and now we have to wait for the rest of the world to catch up (which all are thanks to Paris Accord- except for YOU) protect our coastlines- could be too late…there is already mass migration from island nations due to rising seas & melting polar caps, sea food shortages (our waters are pristine and plentiful but your fishermen have THE OPPOSITE, thanks to your ‘gods’ and their pig-headedness NOT promoting/investing in future and sustainable industries- YOU will eventually RUN OUT OF FUEL & RAW MATERIALS- your economy & politicians that have an over-reliance on such products, cannot be replaced once gone, then we’ll see an even greater rise in their costs- over here Solar, Wind and alternative fuels are getting cheaper every DAY). So you obviously do not care about the future, maybe you do not have kids but the rest of the world DOES…also food production will stop if the water supply is either gone or polluted. Our farmers are constantly signing up for sustainable practices because it means their business continues, food production thrives, it reduces aridification of the land & protects farms from pests, protects farms from harmful weather events….AND REDUCES FIRES…IN THE FUTURE. i.e. sensible practices – protect investment…
Then you’ll see cost of wheat & barley rise…won’t you?

McRaven is a legend always great to listen to.
After having virtually no press secretary for 4 years, just to have chump crammed and forced violintly down our throats… It is a refreshing welcome reverse back to normal with Jen Psaki and her intelligence in speaking and informing we the people.
You must’ve been living in a cave because we had several press secretaries during the Trump administration. We marked all of them. The media was in their places with bright shiny faces every day so there was a press conference. The media was very confrontational and the press secretaries were able to found this off and provide information.
Like I said. I was very impressed with Jim when she first began. She now carries a notebook in with her and she reads from her notes. You’ll recall that we marked the Trump press secretaries for doing this but none of them ever read from their notes verbatim.
Jen has also had to walk back some of her comments particularly about the border. She is starting to dance around some questions. This is a very stressful job and it is important for her to be transparent. I think the ladies, both with Trump and now with Joe have done a lot better than some of the male press secretaries.
Give me a break! She’s just as political as anyone else! She just sounds nicer but behind that facade is a conniving press person!
