With the date set for the second Impeachment trial of former President Trump, impeachment manager Rep. Diana DeGette tells Ali Velshi this trial will be especially interesting to argue because “these senators – they’re not just the jury. Most of them are also victims of this crime.” She added that the case is vital because, “we have to make sure that he never holds federal office again.”» Subscribe to MSNBC:

    1. @Mimzy Jinx How close do you live to Portland ore Salem I live closer than most people. Did I miss something in the news? I don’t think so I watch it every day Right and left I want to know what’s going on in my world not spread fake news.

    2. @Mimzy Jinx Yes how DO you explain the double standard of calling out the national guard against protesters but NOT calling them out when terrorists are attacking our government & our elected representatives in an attempt to overthrow the government?! 🤔🤨

    1. @Mimzy Jinx NO EVIDENCE. If there was, republicans would capitalise on it. Instead they must make up this narrative. NICE TRY STUPID

    2. FBI has traced those charged to their affiliation. Militias, QAnon people, individual citizens supporting T. There has been none traced to BLM or any leftist socialist group.Their phones gave their location/ time. They filmed themselves and posted online. So anyone who claims ANTIFA did this is just repeating nonsence. That has been proven. Antifascist is an ideaolgy but no specific group.

    3. I think it’s crazy to let the co-conspirators participate in seeing if trump is inocente or guilty. They have skin in the game.

    4. @Mimzy Jinx Really? When did a Democrat say, “Let’s all get together on the X-Date. It’s going to be wild.” Not “informative.” Not “exciting.” Not “fascinating.” No, he said “wild” and wild they certainly were, not reasoned. I’m looking for a quotation spoken by a Democratic politician that is like the former president’s, or say, Giuliani’s “trial by combat”. As for Antifa, it seems you don’t even believe the rioters themselves, who say that the president sent them. You have video of rioters rifling through the desks of senators saying, “Cruz would approve of this.” Is Sen. Cruz a member of the Antifa movement? Perhaps you could start that lie circulating, just for fun, you know, like Mr. Trump’s “I don’t know, but I heard…” mantra, finishing up with “…that Ted Cruz is a member of antifa.” “Cities burned” sounds like Sherman marching to the sea. Could you list the cities left in the same condition last summer as Atlanta after the Civil War? Thank you.

  1. The coconspirators should not be allowed to judge a coconspirator …remove them, make them at the very least recuse themselves, by force if necessary

    1. You’re operating under the wildly charitable assumption a single vertebra or morsel of integrity or shame still remains in the Republican party. They’ve been weeding spines and morals out of the party for decades.

    2. @Jo Marsden you’re correct. I think that they should be as afraid of bunkerboy as I am. Never actually saw a list, pence, Pelosi, Schumer, and I heard that Moscow mitchie’ s name was mentioned. This was an attempted coup. Never in the history of history has the leader of a failed coup NOT been imprisoned, exiled, or exterminated. Until…

  2. The best part about it is that the entire crime is on video tape. From Trump, Don Jr, and Rudy Giuliani’s planning of the crime, to the actual perpetration of the crime.

    1. Unfortunately, it won’t matter. They will find a way to circumvent responsibility. We saw and heard what the plan was.

  3. Without accountability and exemplar punishment, dangerous precedents are open to future illegal acts from other groups. No punishment means normalizing the crime.. Then, which group will be the next?…

    1. @louis wilson Sorry to disagree. They are separate trials but Trump is involved for inciting insurrection. Can’t get more involved than that.

  4. I believe that where’s no accountability, there’s no justice. People should be held accountable for what ever they have done, no matter who

    1. Yep Hillary Clinton should be held accountable for lying about the fake Dossier & creating an impeachment hoax.

    2. @Marvin Guigar The Bidens have all been cleared, the Clintons have all been cleared of improper actions by investigative panels from both parties. They haven’t done anything illegal or even suspect, except for in the world of spin and rumor mongering. Meanwhile, 45 has a lot to answer for. I know his supporters like to tell the left, Eff your feelings. They need reminding that their feelings are not facts.

    3. @cc 1k the bidens the clintons have been cleared by who the Democrats LOL look I get it you’re biased. But there is a current criminal investigation on the Biden family. LOL

    4. @Marvin Guigar I don’t know, of course, but if anyone in your family has ever been investigated, that should immediately make you suspect at your place of work. I feel confident you would agree with that.

  5. Lay out the case? All you have to do is roll the tape of Jan. 6th and see for yourself what Trump and his cult did .

  6. We used to have Nazi Hunters now we need insurrectionist Hunter’s, and treat the captured as terrorists.

    1. Great observation!!! Totally Loved your comment I totally Agree!!!👩🏻💖🤗💖👍🏻

  7. If ANY of the Senators voting on impeachment didn’t ALREADY know that Trump’s instigation of insurrection was a crime , they MUST be removed from office immediately for utter incompetence and inability to uphold the most basic terms of their position.

    1. @Rose Though then prove it, oh wait dozens of judges from across the political spectrum all said conspiracy theories aren’t admissible in court. If you hate America then leave, you don’t need to throw a temper tantrum because Trump was a failure…

    2. @T D so I’m taking the only thing you heard from GA was the phone call not the closing statements….. figures.

    3. @Rose Though no, there were 58 lawsuits that were all thrown out in numerous states. Not sure why you think I’d only mention one state when Trump needed many more electorial college points to catch up…

Causing division huh? Like you celebrating conspiracy theories and violating Federal Code 2384 Seditious Conspiracy for months? I’m sorry but felons like yourself can’t vote in many places, and I’m not sure a traitor like yourself has any room to speak. Like I said if you hate America leave, otherwise be quiet about your BS dementia…😂😂😂

    4. @Rose Though Democracy spoke loud and clear. The bloated lazy conman LOST fair and square. No trumpian scam will ever change that. #magaterrorism

  8. What about the senators that are guilty? They need to be charged….everyone should flood the senators with calls and emails and tell them to charge those senators.

  9. Harley and Cruz must recruze themselves from participating in the Impeachment Trial; they are coconspiriters.

  10. There was an attack on the capital and no effort was made to get the president to safety because everyone involved knew he was part of the attack.
