  1. That’s the idea. Get the information out. Let people think. Show what Republicans are. So much for clearing swamp.

    1. @Dee JJ They did have witnesses. There was an agreement not to go that route or it would prevent your stimulus check. You could always donate it to “Meals on Wheels” to TRY to be a better person.

    2. @13bustah WOWWWW!! More cases of COVID in the 1st 24 days? You do realize if Dahhhnnie would have done his job and not downplayed it AND Americans wore masks then we would be in a better place. Actually the numbers are starting to slow due to the vaccine rollout. I can’t wait to get mine since I fall in that “high class” of health problems

    3. @madlen ellul That wasn’t insurrection. If you actually listen to his entire speech you’d hear him call for PEACEFUL protest and that we have to fight. Have you seen the montage of Dems saying they need to fight back and that “nobody said protests had to be peaceful”? It was part of the evidence provided by President Trumps defense team. Hypocrisy comes to mind. Irony too!

  2. The only good thing to come out of this is that the people who stormed the capital no longer have an alibi.
Wonder how that’s going to sit with his base.

    1. If he gets off they do too. Judges have already let the vast majority of them go free on bail. Some of them have even been allowed to leave the country. Not the one black one though he’s being held without.

    2. @littleangel4780 Not true! You are blind. The results were just the opposite of failed. This shows 43 republicans are cowards and liars. 57 is more than 43. Acquitted but still impeached. Trump will have to face criminal trials. Even if he manages to prove not guilty somehow he’ll have to go through all that stress and the defamation. Covid killed some Trump boot lickers who didn’t care to wear masks and social distance. Many survived because Trump let them have the antibodies cocktail which non of us could have if we needed. BLM and Antifa managed to pass their messages around the world and that has made a huge difference. Biden won and is fixing all the damages caused by crazy stupid dictator Trump. No we didn’t fail. We won and we are heading towards a better world, better economy and safer stress free respectful life.

    1. @143freespeech nobuts – First off my comment was in no way a rebuttal. You took it completely out of context and I certainly didn’t mean to offend you! Personally, I appreciate it when someone points out a spelling or grammatical error that I make. The way I look at it, you learn from your mistakes. It’s just the professor in me raising its head once more. Again, I had no intent in ruffling your feathers. Take care!

    2. @S J “It’s that we don’t have good people in the Republican Party.”

Yeah….. any lack of ‘good’ people is BECAUSE of what the party really is.

    3. @Hallie Page Good one, Hallie. I am still waiting for my city to be rebuild after it was destroyed by the Democrat supported BLM and ANTIFA nuts.

  3. Refusing to convinct Trump doesn’t make him innocent….It makes most of the Republican party an accessory to his crimes.

    1. @Warren Mcclure I always encourage my party to return to our Democrat values of the past. Return to the values of FDR and JFK.

    2. @T. R. Campbell the True Problem is the FACTS DEMOCRATS DO NOT SHOW THE FACTS ONLY TWISTED WORDS LIKE THE LIES THEY ARE

    3. @T. R. Campbell the woman they that was talking about the Calvary of prayer as she was doing but they didn’t show the True Facts

  4. Our children are watching No consequences for bad behaviors. Americans need to Never Forget and post that on every Republican election going forward. Disgusting there are no words

    2. So true. trump has rarely been held fully accountable for his inexcusable, unethical, and illegal behaviors. Let’s hope that changes now that he is out of office. #BlueForLifeNow

    1. @Mimzy Jinx
Give it a rest. He LOST and there isn’t anything that’s going to change that. Climb back down into that rabbit hole and wait for more meaningless Q drops that, so far has, has rendered nothing but a bunch of gullible followers such as yourself.

    2. @Deborah Freedman
Oh trust me, Nixon was head and shoulders above trump as far as policy so you have no argument from me regarding that fact. He also had the decency to resign whereas trumps ego and narcissism only plunged our country into a more divided and hateful nation.

  5. You Republicans who decided to not charge Trump, it’s your loss now. Watch how many Republicans will leave you now!

    1. And their Donors, those big money guy billionaires have pulled out, some waited to see the results of the Impeachment , endgame now! , This is not the Republican Party anyway , it is the Party of Trump and they proved it to us today!

  6. Total incompetence, totally corrupt.. The US has fimally lost any respect on the world stage, as the GOP does not support democracy. Thats beyond repair. Thanks to the GOP, the stage is now wide open to overturn any election with lies & violence !!!

  7. Just like how cops shouldn’t investigate themselves,

The jury shouldn’t have some co-conspirators in the pool.

    1. @Mimzy Jinx Congrats on missing the point. Your name-calling really drives your “point” home. Trump committed a crime, and your inability to see it speaks volumes to your lack of intelligence.

    2. That statement makes no sense whatsoever. The managers almost could not have done a worse job, lucky for them it didn’t matter but it was fun to watch the managers get humiliated by an injury lawyer.

    3. @Luke B humiliated? That lawyer kept contradicting himself in every sentence.

The managers had video evidence, what did he have? Whataboutism and baseless accusations with no evidence. He didn’t need a lawyer, the reps already said how they would vote BEFORE the trial.

  8. How many trials have jurors that are either witnesses, victims, OR accomplices of the defendant?

    Or all of the above?

  9. If anyone else but the holy wanna be dictator had tried a fraction of this, they would have been jailed. This is pathetic.

    1. @Epic Conners I hear you…too much truth and facts for you to face. You slam, but have nothing of value to offer. Twelve year old girls use the same come backs at you, but you do you, Epic Conners.

    2. @Johnny Yen thanks for responding – it’s a terrible time of insecurity and agree – how can ppl unite when the House is so divided on fundamental values. Essentially, we all have to live with our own actions. As a buddhist, I try not to inflict violence w body, speech or mind, but do here on this strong issue. It feels like violent speech, but it’s not stalking through the Capitol calling out for Pence or Pelosi – this gutter level of behaviour is never acceptable – no one should live through violence of attack at work, or home. They were happy to harm Ted Cruz for a crazy moment their possy style approach showed for a quick moment of judgement…. yes, they were taking images, for the ‘new administration’?? Didn’t they feel indemnified by .trump, as president, calling them to arms! Yes, many were armed. Of course travel and previous security would prevent certain types of armament, but they were violent enough with no indication it was a ‘peaceful visit’ ….. wen the lines broke, they pummelled and killed police using what they could. All are culpable, inciting each other – taking over for a man who rested in his rooms, watching on tv, gloating in his powerful reign. Sorry, it makes me physically ill. It is unjust and invites more of the same. If we ‘survive the spread’……

    3. @Calvin Smyth why don’t you go prosecute that case if it bothers you so much. The issue being discussed here is different. I hope you and your ilk get well from this whataboutism syndrome

  10. So, people didn’t see that he was guilty?! Oh, what a shame. So sad. I used to think the United States was something special. Obviously it’s not. Spineless people there too. Sad.

    1. @Interested party I agree and hope so. Because my native country is so hopeless, I get some vicarious joy in seeing a democratic system that works in the United States until this happened. I’m shocked at the apathy of the American people. I guess I was under some kind of illusion, expecting some kind of definite action. However, with the spineless, childish, irresponsible and outright lies and disconnections from reality that I’ve heard people spout in the senate, it’s been a rude awakening. It makes me realize how things can go wrong if the people are not actively involved in their government.

Salute to the people of Myanmar. Real heroes. Real citizens.

    2. @Sam Chiu I’m not. I guess you’re right kind of. I must have been hoping the reason why they were leaders so to say was that they’d be able to choose what is right, moral, decent and proper even if it’s not what the people want. I thought that was partly what leadership meant. Guiding the represented when they don’t know better. No one should have not wanted this guy imprisoned even after that greatest shame of all shame and crime of actually goading people to attack a building that represented the democratic system. That’s got to have been seen as a crime. I was ashamed for the United States. It looked like a country under attack. It broke my heart. I expected more. And, the cause was that guy. If you truly love your country, you’d hand over power and then, begin to find and work in ways to correct the flaws that you observed in the electoral system, not incite an attack that had the potential of getting even more out of hand and leading to civil war. That’s not leadership. That’s not love for a country. That’s selfishness or, at the least gross incompetence. Remember the parable of Solomon and the two women who claimed that they were the mothers of the baby? The real mother chose to lose the baby to the lying and horrendous woman rather than the child benefit in two which is the same thing as it being killed
He should have pursued peaceful and constitutional alternatives not risk the destruction of the country if indeed he cared about the country. Why’s that so clear to me?

  11. Get active. Find out when their terms are up and do everything in your power to see they lose their seat in the next election. Tell your friends. No more.

  12. When John Lennon was shot and killed, Beatles fans worldwide realized “the dream is over” and today the dream we called democracy died. Killed by Republicans that voted to acquit Donald Trump.

    1. @joe kim …no I love women but all women are Constitutionality equal to all men, so you’re just engaging in passive bigotry… sorry that hurts your little feelings snowflake…

    2. (Yawn) That sounded better the 1st time I heard it. Always amusing seeing Democrats conflate their failure with America’s

    3. @Patton Moore im not debating the equal constitutional rights of women…im debating the EO of a man dressed as a women competing in woman’s sports. Use youre brain iys ok to say that a man will crush a woman in sport and to call yourself a woman because you feel like it is an unfair and insane advantage. Are you slow or just surrendered your brain to Ralphie maddow?

    4. @joe kim You’re a foolish troll, If the woman in sports are sore about having Trans athletes, they never where athletes to start with. NO Medical profession worth noting supports your position, if they did, they’d loose their ability to work. You are a fool.

  13. All comers, hire up ur lawyers and go after him civilly, he won’t even know what that means though… take his beloved money cause that’s what the monger worships

    1. Very key but, not so much consolation. The constitution was supposed to be the refuge for what is right and, the final indicator as to consequences. It shows that representatives can choose to bypass the constitution or what is right. Now, a new precedence has been set. Others can do the same thing and get away with it. A new low in American government system. Disappointing.
