Did you miss the fact that he has donated all of his salary checks to charities? Those donations are tax deductible. Ask any accountant or tax preparer at H&R Block. He has no earned taxable income after those donations. His donations have almost zeroed out his taxable income from other income. Don’t blame President Trump. If you don’t like the way it played out, blame the tax laws that are on the books.
They don’t seem to understand that testing is not a PREcaution, it is a “POSTcaution” (to coin a phrase). We know that the virus can be spread PRE symptomatically and the testing is not as likely to come up positive then.
Testing enables contact tracing and quarantines for those who may be infected due to their contact with the original patient (Trump.) They are purposefully not doing CONTACT TRACING and have blocked the CDC from doing it. There is a dead cat here somewhere: if he really is infected and this was not a hail mary stunt to save a dying candidacy, he would have had the virus for at least a week before hospitalized and risked INFECTING all of those people at the rallies, Barrett nomination party, fundraiser, etc.

Trump is a lying scumbag, and I know he has lied countless times before.
But I actually don’t think he would fake his own covid-case.
I mean, all this time he has tried to downplay it. He knows most people think he did a bad job with corona.
And now the remaining campaign is gonna be about corona and how poorly he managed this crisis.
I think Trump would had much preferred to talk about the BLM demonstration and law and order.
Instead he has to spend 2 weeks in isolation so close to election.
Time not spent on rallys and fundraising.
I guess that is why he is trying to get out of the hospital so soon. I don’t think he is well yet. But he don’t want to look weak, and showing that the virus is affecting him. He might just try to brush it of his shoulders saying that it was nothing and no big deal to have corona.
Then again. Trump is very unpredictable.
