Wait, we need a plan to fight this? Like prep for everyone in the country to stay at home for a month? Sending out the money first? Stocking grocery stores for a huge surge? Mandating action instead of stressing the optional part of guidelines? Too bad we don’t have a President who values how much of a boost that would have on our economy after we got through it.
And Josh, don’t forget postponing or dropping the case to destroy the Affordable Care Act(aka Obamacare) during this pandemic, depriving at least 20 million Americans of health care. Not only do they need the coverage now, but also, they will need the protection for illnesses and conditions they develop because they survived Covid. These will be pe-existing conditions going forward, and if the ACA is abolished,these people will not be able to get coverage for these things. and maybe not anything else.

@usernameagainahcrap and you have to wonder why US media keeps referencing EU as a comparison when it shows cases and death tolls: Canada continues to close its borders to non-essential travel and suffers when our nurses go to work in Detroit hospitals and thereby (logical reasoning) Windsor is a hot spot for infections on our side of the border.

@Bill Wilson Bill, let’s just say that you are correct in your hypothesis. Remember that almost all of the entire world stopped for 3 months. All commercial flights stop Flying, the entire country of China stop production for a month-and-a-half, all flights to Europe all tourism to Paris and Greece stop completely for 3 months. I live on an island in the Caribbean and no flights have been here for 3 months. Brazil has the worst death count in the world from the cold virus. Yesterday the European Union banded all flights from the United States and Brazil. So if you are correct it seems as though the entire world is against Donald Trump. And oh, my wife’s grandparents were sick for 3 to 4 weeks with the virus. We are fortunate that they both have almost completely recovered, but for about a week they were gravely ill. So I’m believing that this virus is real and Trump is completely inept in handling it. Again The Europe Union is accepting flights from three or four African countries including Rwanda but are not accepting any flights from the United States because we don’t have the virus under control.

What a tragedy that these reporters appear happy about the increased “CASES”. WOW really ignore Collateral Damage and shut down again? No wonder people don’t want to listen to disease doctors anymore. Dr. Bhadelia,the Media is quick to report new “CASES” numbers, but where are the new hospitalization numbers, (don’t lie and include people admitted for elective surgery though). What are the death rates doing/ What is the new death rate %’s now that we have all these new cases, the medical people know more about treating Cv19 and now that we are not sending elderly CV19 patients back to the nursing homes? If this is similar to the FLU, Life needs to go on!

@Donnie Darko Just FYI, sleeping in civics class is not limited to leftists. The president DOES set the tone for the country and the highest example for citizens. Furthermore, this particular President goes after any governor who goes against him (this does NOT excuse the governors, but it doesn’t help matters any.) Besides, there is such a thing as a national strategy. Whether or not this is appropriate is controversial, but my point is that the President is not helpless, nor is he void of responsibility.
