Well, call me old-fashioned, but thankfully, I’ve never had a Twitter account, and I seem to be surviving well enough, I mean with multiple other social media options, I wonder if others will realize that they can just simply not use some of these platforms, and actually still live a productive, well-informed existence. Then again, maybe I’m just dreaming …
I had a twitter account briefly and I stopped using it because I didn’t want to have bullshit from Elon Musk or the Kardashians forced on me and there’s no way to turn it off. I now have a dark twitter account that never posts, retweets, follows, or anything else.. I only use it so I can scroll past the “create an account to view more” blockade when a tweet is mentioned in the news. And Rider, this has nothing to do with free speech. You can’t yell “fire” in a crowded theater when there’s no fire, remember that one from high school? Well you can’t yell “fraud” in an election when there’s no fraud.
