  1. It’s the same M.O. with Trump and his people. It’s called Trumpism, and we all know how it works by now.
    The 5 stages of Trumpism:
    1. It’s a total lie, never happened, fake news.
    2. Ok, so it happened, but it’s not a big deal.
    3. Ok, so it might be a big deal, but it isn’t illegal.
    4. Ok, so it’s illegal, but but but Hillary and Obama, something unintelligible, so it’s okay.
    5. WHATEVER LIBBY!! YOU’RE JUST A SORE LOSER. MAGA!!!

  2. The GOP needs to wake up and walk away. If he’s impeached they’re not gonna lose their primary or election. Because he won’t be there to do anything to them. He’s guilty get over it he admits what he’s done and that illegal.

    1. @chilly willy – That’s very sad (and frightening) but probably true, although I disagree that every Republican senator would be at risk, but certainly some of them would be voted out of office. Still, it shouldn’t matter, since there’s life after Congress. Doing the right thing is more important than keeping a lying, cheating traitor who is destroying our country in office.

    2. That only possibly applies if someone takes Trump’s Twitter account and access to media outlets away. He can still easily do a lot of damage by asking his base to vote against any dissenting Republican senators and inciting them to riot.

  3. The Trump admin identified Ukraine as being so desperate for aid against its Russian invaders it would be vulnerable to blackmail.

    1. Trump thinks seducing absolves him of direct blame. *LOL* I can talk my spouse into anything. Drop a hint here. A suggestion there. On our way to the opera I say, “Well, you wanted to go! I never asked”

    2. Trump loves the uneducated! What they don’t get is he is INSULATING their intelligence and mocks them with his actions and nonactions

  4. So I guess Trump’s strategy is “We’re going to do so many crimes that you can’t keep up with us. You’ll then get confused and give up.”

    1. That’s exactly what he’s doing. Exactly! That was so well put. It’s a constant gaslighting and a try to exhaust the other one.

    2. Its been his approach from the beginning. There’s so little time for pressure to build before there’s something else. Its quite clever when you think about it, in an evil way.

    3. Dave Ponsford // Or pathological. This guy is a narcissist. It’s his coping mechanism. That’s why psychologists since day one have been saying that he’s *Only* going to get worse. That’s the narcissists way,..

  5. I’m thinking of doing a masters on American politics, won’t need to study much, the lessons are all here and trump can be my thesis. 🤔

    1. Do yourself a favor and read how the history of hyper-partisanism started and continues to this day in the great book The Second Civil War by Ronald Brownstein

    1. Yep Mattis earned his spurs, unlike Donald Trump he didn’t get given them in a doctors letter 😀 😀 😀 😀

    2. It was quietly savage…brutal but civil…scary in fact.
But the entire political system is corrupt and broken.

    3. Bobo Budju…I watched that…what a character General Mattis is…he had a great sense of humour…however, you can almost hear through it all…he would’ve liked to say more…but, has more couth than Trump, on camera…
Then, the speech he read by Lincoln…that ought be read…on the news…
Anyway, bonespurs from the battlefield vs bonespurs from the doctors note…??? hmm???😏

  6. That’s the final nail in the coffin . Calls for a celebration 🎉 Donald is out so his supporters will have to GET OVER IT .

  7. If a cop was investigating me for crimes, and any of us gave the BS answers Trump and his goons gave, we’d all been in jail in a second.
Trump is not a god,why should he remain in office when he continues to break the law

    1. @BW MadDog [retired] – you are taking Trump’s statements for facts when they are far from it. The full house votes ONCE – when all of the evidence is provided to it. This process is much like a grand jury, a grand jury votes on the EVIDENCE.

WHAT BS answers have been allowed?? How do you control a person’s answers??

Have NO doubts, this IS a REAL impeachment process.

    2. @Tomandtob Not quite. Why is it that Schiff’s intelligence committee can hold secret meetings without repubs being in on it. As soon as the full house votes to start the inquiry, then reps and demonics can go about the business of looking into evidence, subpoenaing witnesses and such. Until the process is real, it ain’t real. I’m sorry You are confused. My guess is that You acquired your information from the propagandizing fake newsies.

    1. Technically, it isn’t. As Lawrence has previously explained, the Supreme Court has previously determined that treason can only be committed by aiding a foreign nation that we are officially at war with, and America has not officially declared war on anyone at this time.

  8. “The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”
    ~ George Orwell, “Nineteen Eighty-Four”

    1. This whole scene has become far more Orwellian than I ever could have believed would happen in my United States. We have a large minority of Trump supporters who don’t believe the truth is based on facts because a pathological liar told them so.

    2. @John Swofford It’s very scary that so many people can be fooled and led by a narcissistic lying corrupt President.

  9. Mulvaney was a hack as a congressman, as the head of the FCPB, and now is continuing his hackery as White House chief hack of staff.

    1. There are no crimes discovered yet. The secret service will continue to do their jobs as long as there is nothing but accusations. MSNBC is propaganda for the uneducated. Try OANN or Epoch Times, or some other really investigative news outlet.

    2. @BW MadDog [retired] No crimes discovered yet? The only reason Trump has not been charged with obstruction of justice in relation to the Russia investigation is because a sitting president can not be indicted.

How could you say something so blatantly ignorant and then call MSNBC propaganda for the uneducated?

    1. The deep state was well in place before Trump arrived. JFK talked about them in 1961. Regan also talked about them.
