    1. Give me a yes or no answer to this question. “Kimberly, have you quit abusing your husband and children yet?” Just a simple yes or no.

    2. @Joe Zyzyx yes, I never abuse them in the first place
Is she good for the democrats?
=I respect her, she raises lots of money bla3

  1. Just say “I’ll take that long answer as a NO” and then see if she corrects it. And continue from there.

    1. @Robert H
On the contrary, and as most Americans know, it’s Fox “News” that constantly provides all the Fake News – not CNN.

  2. Victor you are a CLASS ACT
You said “I didn’t get there” even though she’s the one who’s dodging your question

    1. ****MEDIA FAIL**** — Questions were answered, just not with a ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ CNN making mountains out of molehills, trying to stir controversy, jack ratings, mesmerize the masses for more mega-moola. It’s all about the “SOUND BITE,” right, CNN, not the substance of the issue here? Fact is, DCCC and AOC may have their differences, but the common ground between them is vast, far more than any petty disagreements. We all know that, but CNN not going to let the truth get in the way of fabricating a fiction for followers of such foolery.

DCCC’s Bustos didn’t do herself any favors, either. We expect politicians to speak diplomatically and to parse their words to please the largest proportion of people. However, here the affirmative admission was made in both instances, anyway, so a simple straightforward ‘yes’ answer to both questions would be appropriate, reflecting both on her and Democrats favorably. Instead, Bustos comes off as being less than honest, reflecting poorly on both herself and Democrats–pointlessly, for no good reason, whatsoever! In fact, she was being honest, if also reserved and reticent, in her answers.

The bottom line here is the reporter kept redundantly asking the same questions, despite being supplied the same AFFIRMATIVE answers each time. That’s on the reporter, not the DCCC chair. Doggedly determined to dig dirt and dominate, but denied going down in the ditch, diatribe dip at the CNN desk deserved to be dangled and dissed.

    2. @Sam Smith Sorry…dude…you are a total moron. Communists don’t even really exist. I’m old enough to remember the Soviet Union and the Berlin Wall

  4. OMG, WHY CANT SHE ANSWER THE QUESTION ?? Then shes says “You Tried” when he says he tried to get an answer 4 times.. WTF ??

    1. Because it’s a “gotcha” question and she is not obligated to answer the way the interviewer wants her to…

    2. @Kern Albert The second question was an obvious snipe attempt, and she responded to it appropriately. The first question, though, was objective and fair. All she did was dodge it.

  5. Just say “I’ll take that long answer as a NO” and then see if she corrects it. And continue from there.

    1. The Mysterious Now That’s actually a damn perfect way that they should all do it!! Damn good idea!!!❤️

    2. @Joe Zyzyx 4:09 – He asked to a Yes or No question, and her ability to answer the question asked of her was deficient. It’s called obfuscation.

    3. “How you choose to take my affirmative answer is beyond anyone else’s control.” Bustos did repeatedly respond in the affirmative to the second question. The first question was also answered if you were following along. Trump’s illegally using the AUMF as a basis for the authorization. Doesn’t matter if we repeal the AUMF, if Trump is only going to break the law, anyway. Do you not get that?

As a progressive, very much want the AUMF repealed, but these are sticky, complicated issued involving national security that could hinder future Presidents from protecting us. This is something that needs to be examined closely and thoughtfully debated, not just ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answers in a rush to judgment to please some TV anchor.

    “Ah look I…I…you’re…you’re..I ..I …uh”

    1. We shouldn’t vote for anybody who simplistically thinks everything is black or white, can be answered with a ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ That’s kind of how we got Trump, remember?

  7. When you said nobody saw this coming, you mean “congress” didn’t see this coming. We the public seen this coming two years ago. Grow up and get a spine. This is getting Ridiculous.

  8. “is someone good?” is never a yes or no question. I wish she and others would push back on this need for oversimplification.

  9. Moderator: Blah Blah Blah yes or no?

Politician: Let me tell you a story that doesn’t answer the question.

    1. Are you a pedophile, or posting online? Yes or no, please!
You: Let me be intellectually dishonest and not admit to being wrong.
