  1. Oh come on lady!!!!! Are you listening to yourself????? The citizens should have running water every day of the year! This is not the 1930’s, we’re living in modern times or maybe that only applies to you. This is very shameful and you need to do right by the people or resign since you’re not able to fulfill your duty as an elected government official.

    1. I agree with you. The poor people them vote them in, and elected official like her just stay there and eat taxpayers money and do nothing. Poor people, I feel it for them.

    2. She should leave that office, these people office so confortable them nuh leave out off it and expect the people work to be done, such a same.

  2. DISGRACE! NO PIPES WATER FOR 20 YEAR’S! BUY WATER?? POOR PEOPLE MUST BUY WATER?? BROKEN ROADS!! WHAT IS THE PORTLAND MP DOING??
    GETTING PAID FOR NOTHING!!

    1. Where’s the MISSING.PEOPLE..(.M P)
      WAIT TILL ELECTION TIME..
STOP VOTE TILL DEM CAN DO BETTER…OMG 20 YRS WUKLISS MP

  3. you think the mayor at the parish council would agree with the resident Mr reporterman do you live in a different Jamaica or do you live into the Jamaica that filled with corruption take a trip to Portland Port Antonio and then it will speak for itself the mayor is a idiot I’m not sure if you know what color the day is

  4. Jamaican love sweets too damn. That’s why the country in the states it is now. For years no road no water? It’s civilized time now. Water should be in your house by now. Unnu always mek politicians trick unnu with the 5grand.

  5. Why this reporter keep emphasizing that the residents “claim” x, y, z. You are literally looking at the empty pipe and bad roads. Try to have some measure of credibility

    1. It Tek me off everytime she say claim. Like lady the ppl dem a tell u so why u keep saying they claim they claim. Pssht.

  6. If the road is like that for years why are you all voting for? When election comes you all must stand up and say you are not voting until the road is fix or you get pipe water or both.

    1. @A.R when election time comes the politicians travel on these roads over and over again seeking voters so they see it.

  7. My baby father was involved in this accident thanks be to god he came out of his van without a scratch
My Condolences to mr smith family and friends it’s really sad that he die like this I was there watching his vehicle burning and no one could help him tears was just running down my face

  8. In this modern times the people of Jamaica need to be smart don’t vote unless thing are looked after I’m sure that mp have water everyday it’s a disgrace Jamaica is going backwards

  9. I have never voted and doubt I will ever vote based on how I see my community treated, the sad fact is this, they come around at election time with a small change or farm work papers and there are many community members who will not even be consjdered for this if they dont vote….I have said this for many years I have never seen running piped water in my house in Portland. Never and that lady is a bare faced liar.

  10. Why is a government official waiting on a request to fix issues in their constituency rather than making visits, seeing the issues, listening to him/her residents and correcting the issues for his/herself. This must be a joke. That lady should be embarrassed to be making such statements on the news.

  11. Why are they not saying the police unit was speeding? If it was a civilian, they would conclude that speeding was the underlying cause of that fiery fatal crash.
