  1. Prayers for Italy. I was there mid summer last year. Such a gorgeous country and wonderful kind people.

    1. @Li1190 unfortunately, they have this notion that every black guy is some immigrant from North/West Africa

    2. @Valerie From Oregon thats very exciting comment my friend 🙂 i would like to talk to you more about this topic

    3. @mgtow 5513 I am Indian. It’s not only black people who get this treatment but we tend to keep quiet and accept it. Indians are hated much more the world over. Even in Nigeria I received racist insults from black people. Racism is in all cultures. Indian people are generally not racist as we are not brought up to hate others, but to love and be kind to everyone. Black people are generally accepted, but we are hated with real passion, but we rise above it.

  2. I am really sorry. I pray for people who are infected and died of this virus in Italy. I feel your suffering.

    I pray for Italy.

    1. yes. pray. like the europeans did during the black death that killed hundreds of millions of people. yes, go ahead and pray. PROTIP: make sure you also have the right god(s).

    2. Where’s pope????? If he can clans our sin than he should be able to cure the victims of corona, otherwise he’s the antichrist.

    3. @l l So 10,000 d3ãţhs that could be from any flu complication essentially and it’s “Crown” virus right ? How does that make sense ?

People d13 every day from smoking and many other reasons. How do we know they’re not inflating the “Covid virus” numbers ?

  3. But the lockdown in Italy *is* working. The daily new cases have been holding steady instead of zooming up and up.

    1. China wants a foot hold in Europe. A country with deep ports, good infrastructure n ageing population is great to accommodate Chinese people & Chinese businesses. A couple of decades more Italy will be more Chinese than Italian

    2. @Kalash Nikov all the latin culture countries kiss a lot! Thats the Problems with Spain and France.

    1. My prayers to America, because Trump rejected the quarantine in one of the most important city of USA…

    1. Over 5000 Chinese in Italy besides Chinese owned businesses & Chinese billionaires settled thr are already filling the empty spaces in Italy. Abt 2 decades of China’s Economic takeover of Italy. Abt another 2 decades & Italy will be more Chinese than Italian

    2. @Lacy Stonesifer He’s right, the flu killed 24,000 – 63,000 Americans in the past 6-month flu season (CDC numbers) and is quite contagious.

10,000 dead from Corona virus is a statistical drop in the bucket in a nation of over 300,000,000 people. If you tripled the fatalities you’d still have less than .01% nationwide mortality.

This isn’t an insignificant event and needs to be dealt with rationally and responsibly. But the fear mongering with wild speculative numbers bereft of context is entirely unhelpful.

TL;DR We’re afflicted by two scourges currently, the virus being one, and the fecklessness with which it’s being reported by the media being the other.

  4. Oh God, the US is definitely going to see these numbers, Italy has been quarantined for weeks WE have NOT! This is unreal!

    1. howdareyou41 not sure I understand your numbers; how do you get to 3 million dead in USA? Wait, are basically saying out of our population, 3-4% will die?

    2. @howdareyou41 I’m not suggesting anyone experiment with herd immunity nor do I have the authority to initiate it any country or state so you can relax. I was asked what it was so I answered and then added that I was curious why this is not taken into account when mainstream media is calculating their guesstimated death tolls. You can take your passion elsewhere. Also, not to nit pick, but it wouldn’t be 4%. As of right now the death rate of reported cases is lower than that, add unreported, even lower than that. Again, I am not saying this to lobby for it, I originally said it because someone mentioned that the numbers of infected would climb to 50% on their own soon. I was suggesting that we could take heart because if they DO unfortunately climb that high ON THEIR OWN than previous scientific study suggests that it would shortly end after that. I never said I WANTED it to get to 50% or that we should allow it to. I just stated facts. I know that these are stressful times but there is no need to assume and attack.

    3. @howdareyou41 also, why are you suggesting I haven’t read about Italy? Does me mentioning a simple scientific observation cause you to assume that I am unaware or don’t have a heart? I think you are typing faster than you are processing at this point. Please take a big deep breath. We all mourn these losses together. It is scary for all of us. But that doesn’t give you an excuse to blow off steam in this comment section. If you’re having trouble coping smashing your keyboard will not bring long term relief. I hope the best for you and yours.

    4. Doesent matter on what side you stand …. left or right …. the diesel train is started at the states and a lot of other county’s
Beware and watch out for all the people arround you……
      Stay safe
From a hard hit small county

    5. @IndiependentGame how could it not? We are much larger. We need to get out of raw numbers and look at % compared to population. How can you hold a country 3 times as large to the same baseline?

    1. @MJ 47 I work in the frontlines and I risk my life to save our people even someone like you. Stay safe and prayers for you and your loved ones. Hope you will let go of you hate in your heart and spread love and care instead

    2. @Mac Tek Tell that to people with no insurance , just beside the fact it hasn’t. soon you gonna try to convince me that you have the best education system too.

  5. Thousands were already infected before the lockdown. Now, they are being hospitalized and some of them are dying. Without lockdown, this number would have been 50 times higher.

    1. North Italy alone has over 3000 Chinese Workers. Any footage of hospitals ever show a single Chinese patient? How is that possible ?

    2. @JOSEPH MUREITHI in Kenia People vaccine themselves? Because I am realizing Italy, Spain, France and USA don’t have a vaccine policy? WTF! Thats why they are dying like crazy!

    1. @K1llmoore 23 covid19 is aggressive with young people too!! I am italian, I live in Lombardy and Us is in our same situation of 3 weeks ago! Please, stay at home!

  6. For those who say “the lockdown doesn’t work” , the deaths are the people who were already sick with covid_19 , but the infection has slowed down

    1. @Will.I.Am11 You can’t get heart disease by someone sneezing on you, you don’t have to be quarantined from the world for the flu (although you should), Cancer is not communicable. They are awful but not comparable. …away from family not knowing what to expect because its new and invisible. There is outrage for all of these. They are just not new. You seem to be deflecting.

    2. Cherelle Clay If we locked down for influenza, 59,000 people wouldn’t have died last year in the US because of the flu. Where was your outrage last year about 59,000 dead? Oh yea, the media didn’t care about it, so you never heard about it. Talk about deflecting.

    3. @Will.I.Am11 ohh and you conveniently ignored the fact that more than 50 million people got the flu, last year. And again it’s said that about 29000-to- 59000. And again these death are not all only from the flu, there are other factors involved. Ohh and flu doesn’t take hundreds or even thousands of people admitted to hospitals.

  7. My deepest sympathy for Italy.
I know that they will come out of this stronger. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

    1. @John Mcsorleyit knocks the air out of you at first. Then you come back stronger because you survived.

    2. John Mcsorley it’s going to take Time, but loss eventually will strengthen one’s psyche. I believe the experience does help one better cope with future trauma.

    1. Ilias El I’ve already been locked and I live in northern Minnesota, and I’m not even in Duluth

    1. @Don Francisco pls stop with this is like flu or actually less serious than flu. Again, THIS IS FAR MORE SERIOUS THAN FLU. Regular flu does not spread as easily, that it spreads easily even to hot areas. Or if it is to you, go ahead go have yourself infected but respect others and keep the virus into urself since it is just a “flut” to you anyway.

Also, millions get flu. Those people who died with covid sure to have had flu many times but didnt die. They get covid only once and die.

    2. How do Italians respond to people who show no symptoms, do they hug or touch or alike like standing close to when they talk.?
(I´m suspecting this virus might spread through the air also, and in incubation zone; not only when sneezing or coughing…)

  8. My prayer to Italy and whole world 😭😭😭 I am crying right now and pray for them from pakistan

    1. @Miriam Carrasco the rural Pakistan tbh is far beautiful than some tourist destinations in europe for example in Kashmir and north western frontier. Although I am not Pakistani the country is truly blessed with natural beauty.

  9. Stay on lockdown, it’s probably the only action that’s saving those that have not been infected. I feel so sad for you all. Stay strong, fight the fight and never give up !

    1. Yes Italy, we are with you ! Here in Mauritius, we have over hundred of people infected too and 3 people passed away . .

    2. Please use facial mask. We are in Asia and it helps us a lot. In the end we all will get infected, but lets slow down the spread. Be healthy guys.

  10. USA needs to pay attention and learn from Italy before it’s too late. My heart goes out to all affected. Stay home and stay strong 💪❤️

    1. @ferrinter reason why its too late because china never tell the warning all they did was hiding like cowards

  11. RIP for those who passed away;

Quick recovery and best wishes for the rest of our Italian Bro. & Sis.
