    284,082 = number of Canadians who died in 2019 from all causes
    80,148 = number of Canadians who died in 2019 from cancer
    52,532 = number of Canadians who died in 2019 from heart disease
    13,710 = number of Canadians who died in 2019 from accidents
    13,658 = number of Canadians who died in 2019 from cerebrovascular diseases

    22,335 = number of Canadians whose death are attributed to COVID in 2020-21 (through March 10th, 2021)
