  1. Yes. Start with the Weston family.

    • they colluded to end the 2$ hazard pay.

    • Screw the Weston Family. Have you noticed that if you try to use PC Express, the sale price suddenly and quietly evaporates once you set a time-slot to pick up your groceries? 😒

    • Don’t buy their stuff….simple as that.

    • @Flyin Brian It’s not that simple unfortunately. Canada has a debt to GDP ratio that is record high, and no plan to pay it down. While interest rates are cheap today, they could double tomorrow which would make it far more difficult to service.

Taxation is one element…but we need to fire up our economy on all cylinders, and put non essential initiatives on the back burner until Canada is in a strong position.

That’s like saying if Canada has a flood or similar natural disaster we should tax companies who change their logistics to match the quick and abrupt change in demand. Shouldn’t we be encouraged those types of companies not taxing them more? The only reason a business can adapt to such a disaster is that they have teams that are smarter than those that do not. Why you would tax Zoom, Amazon or SkiptheDishds or other company because they adapted to the market better than others is beyond me.

    • @Giggidyguy7 How many lobbyists do the rich need?

    • @Leutrell Bodden they are all ready paying taxes. What, should everyone lose their business? Should everyone suffer?

So you want to further burden the successful?

@Alex 1 tell that to Amazon and Google.

    • @Leutrell Bodden amazon isn’t profiting off covid and neither is google. The only reason they are doing better is because trudeau dtopped our economy for a pandrmic that kills less than smoking.

@Alex 1 you might want to tell them that. Amazon just posted record profits during this epidemic

  3. Yup…. Like income tax…. Was to be a ” temporary ” measure .

Income tax was supposed to be imposed after the first world war and then stopped. However, when the greedy politicians got a hold of the money, they broke the law at that time and rewrote it.

*Politicians* : Let’s finally act responsibly, and tax those who survived our lockdowns
*Also politicians* : Keep printing money, implement 2 carbon taxes during a pandemic while families are hurting, lock down everyone except protestors, bring in a Finance Minister with primary expertise in Russian and Slav, and don’t mention the WE Charity or the other 3 scandals

  6. …. there is tax, corporate income tax the higher the income the higher the tax, it’s a percentage

In other words the Feds can’t fine or arrest the poor that barely make less than 38grand for dipping in on the Pademic Cerb or CRB benefits when this wealthy groups makes a fortune in paying it’s workers 15/HR…no wonder the huge homelessness is rising in Canadian cities because the Feds keeps on side lining the poor by labeling them as criminals instead of finding a solution to end homelessness and poverty the Feds quickly run to wanting to arrest folks barely making any money and most turning into drugs that results to the dumb decisions of the feds where many poor are jailed and tax payers pay huge bills in jail for all this folks, when they come out of jail can’t be employed due to criminal records…it all adds up to the bad decision the liberals and conservative has been doing all along jail the poor and look after them whilst preserving the wealth of the few families…rather no solution to homelessness, poverty housing and Along universal income as a right to live…

Really grocery stores like loblaws need to pay more taxes because there getting more profits so because we can’t go and eat out at restaurants as much we need to buy more food how does that make sense punishing for making more than you normally do is not right !!

  20. And they will just increase prices to compensate for any tax and profits will remain the same. Want money for Covid recovery? Get rid of the Liberals.
