  1. I’m tired of calling this a recession,this is a depression over 30 million unemployed isn’t a recession.

    1. @Pau Prince 1st Global Jackal family you’re talking to dimwit trump supporters, there’s no debating the fact to them. They only took this stance because it’s where trump stood. they listen to facts, they listen to right wing propaganda.

    2. COVID is CCP’s BioWeapon, search risk-life-flee-china virologist @DrLiMengYAN1(twitter) and her gene evidence reports, get a Gene guy you TRUST(not the famous ones on TV) to verify her reports, she has waken the right(she had to talk with the right 1st since the right was in power), help her waken the left!!

PS:why CCP didn’t allow wuhan people go anywhere in china, but allowed them to go overseas?

    3. @bLoWc16 again,COVID is CCP’s BioWeapon, get a Gene guy you TRUST(not the famous ones on TV) to verify @DrLiMengYAN1(twitter)’s gene evidence reports, she has waken the right(she had to talk with the right first since the right was in power), help her waken the left!!

  2. Japanese TV show Hanzawa Naoki, centering around a male bank employee, is a hit recently in China. While I’m impressed by the protagonist’s wisdom and courage, I also find it hard to ignore a perplexing part— almost all wives of these male bank employees are ladies of the house, whose fate were largely determined by their husbands.
I don’t know Japanese’s response to this, or whether there is any response. But if it were a Chinese show, it would have been pulled down under barrage of attacks for the sheer Patriarchy revealed in it.

    1. Japan is a democracy, meaning, the male dominated politics is because both men AND women keep voting in male politicians. So, there is equal opportunity, just not equal outcomes. So quotas is absolutely wrong.

  3. Japanese American living and working in a Japanese company here. Everything said here is true, but it’s a bit more nuanced and part of a larger problem of Japan being a country of the elderly. Japan is still totally about older = wiser = more right to speak and act. Young people are all told not to speak. Young women have it far worse than young men, but still, that reverse ageism is a huge thing here. So it’s both a sexism and a generational issue. Politics and power structures are dominated by the old so Japanese society sacrifices the needs and future of the young to preserve the money and authority of the old. If we can get rid of all the over – 80s still clinging onto power, a lot would change for everyone, not just women.

    1. @Andrew Dean As a Texan… Mostly, the natural gas lines froze and natural gas facilities seized up. Most of TX power here is nat gas. Yes, wind turbines seized up too, but they attributed about half the losses nat gas facilities did. Our nuclear went down, too.

I am not even political about this. We need diversity in energy. But, those are them facts…

    2. @Gaming with Malachai79 No. I’m saying whatever they are doing is working. Keep at it. Unlike you who personally attack and insult a stranger online.

    3. @Truthsayer 1 keep saying “you listen to fox news!” like that means anything at all to a thinking person..
Even if it was true, you just come off as a dimwit

  4. Oh damn, Japan is facing changes in its cultural structure. Those old dudes won’t go quietly, they will go down fighting to protect their “honor.”

  5. Us now only got a women Veep….This story is almost same everywhere with some exceptions like Kiwees and eu countries…

  6. I remember a while ago a female translator being told “she’s a woman, why is she even talking”. She was literally the translator

    1. @Calvin Parish It IS a social construct. Women not being allowed to speak IS a social thing as it is men who are asking them to be quiet. Or do you think it’s their uteruses choking their voices so they can’t speak? Talk about dumbassery!

  7. I didn’t know and never expected that from Japan. Yet again it didn’t amaze me, for I know it is always these old politicians worldwide that kept humanity from growing.

  8. I’m sick of these people who don’t understand insurance.

“I want to get all the benefits I’m entitled to from Medicare.”

    Bull****.

I had a home and had fire insurance.

I was NOT entitled to a fire.

I was obligated to have smoke detectors in my home and do what I reasonably can to prevent a fire.

People are obligated to use insurance as LITTLE as they can.

  9. what a backward (imperialist) country. they tried to impose this barbarity on China and Korea, no wonder those countries rebelled.
