He didn’t cause that. He inherited that from the wonderful bankers on Wall Street. That’s why Clinton’s years didn’t increase the debt; it was all smoke and mirrors. Enter Obama and the literal house of cards came crashing down. As a matter of fact, while I’m on the subject, last years 4th quarter issued more new debt (FY2018 $1.338 trillion) than they had since the height of the financial crisis. So, frankly, we are doing about as well as we were in 2010 when it reached $1.586 Trillion. Ahh, the good old days.

@esj8341 Let me splain to you and the barstool legal experts you hang with, at least as far as I understand it: You’ve got your civil law and that covers things like marriage and property ownership rather than with crime. (I got that little bit from Collins English Dictionary, just so’s you know.) And then you’ve got your criminal law. The Impoundment Control Act falls under criminal law. Breaking that law is a crime. It doesn’t matter what some pedophile with a law degree tells you on the teevee, – that law degree means he understands the law, not that he has a ticket to re-write the law at his convenience or at the convenience of his client.
The behaviour of the Republicans is extreme because it has become an extremist right-wing party.
That can only mean one thing: fascism.
