    1. i read this before i watched the whole thing and you couldnt be more correct, he needs to shut the f up cause hes trying to deny the obvious

  1. I hear kids say, “me me me me me me…” all the time. They stfu when asked to ponder on the others’ needs too.

    1. True, but when it is the oldest kid and he already makes more money than you so he will have to take care of you in your old age? Bye bye laurentian leaches!

  2. Father and son Cold War on Alberta energy sector highlighted NEP against Alberta drilling companies.
You can trace this back to Crow Rate and PET dropping funding numerous grain elevators on prairies. Quebec politicians Balkanization of Rupert’s Land.

    1. You all literally have NO idea what you’re talking about. Toronto pays more in taxes to the rest of Ontario than it receives back. How is Ontario in debt because of Toronto? Get a grip. Feelings don’t equal facts.

    2. Toronto accounts for almost half of Ontario’s GDP. It is the financial institution headquarters of Canada, and is the 4th largest city in North America. In 2018 its GDP was 330 billion. Alberta’s was 331. Ontario’s was 728.4. It also gets less from the government than what it pays out in taxes. The majority of Ontario’s GDP is now services, not manufacturing, and most service headquarters are in Toronto.

    3. J Aitken The biggest issue with Toronto is, the voting preference it consistently has is choking the rest of the country and in eventuality it’ll kill itself. You constantly vote in big duplicitous centralized government that serves the rest of Canada poorly.

      Adios

  3. Evan don’t you look in the mirror before you come on the show, Trudeau load is still dripping off your chin

  4. Evan, you’re in Toronto, right? Of course you don’t GET IT! But, Evan, do still not see the rising tide of Western Canada separation? Equalization is only one part of this decades long alienation ( and the term alienation is actually mild as to what it really is). So, Central Canada, it’s long past time that an understanding that the West has had enough! Get it Evan? Get it Central Canada, Laurention accord elitists? What’s needed is ELECTORAL REFORM Meaningful ELECTORAL REFORM. Or, the fracturing of Canada. Get it, Evan?

  5. “I am from Ontario, let the money talk Alberta needs to stop making their transfer payment immediately , the East will wake- up quick, the East with all their social programs cannot support”

    1. oh we dont see much of that money anyways with irving taking most of it anyways.. over here in NB it feels like a saudi arabia.

  6. As of Oct 21st the country has split. It is just beginning to dawn on the Laurentians that it has happen and all their word games are not going to stop it.
Laurentians and Western Canadians interest are on diverging paths and Captain Blackface i.e. Mr Dressup does not have the power to stop it.

  7. I see a lot of criticism of the interviewer. A reporter’s job is to challenge. In that sense I think that the reporter did well. As long as they challenge all politicians of all stripes equally fervently, then I have no problem with it. And I am a Wexit supporter. I believe that Alberta needs to separate and break free from the economic colonialism of Eastern Canada.

    1. @Eliza Lee pretty hard for him, considering he doesn’t believe Kenny, respect him or give a crap, he is from Toronto!!

    1. Corperate welfare? Dont know how you got that from this video. Alberta just wants to stop paying for the other sorry provinces that “apparently” have robust economies

    2. @F V I don’t follow??? Can you give me an example? If you say adding another tax or abandoning an industry whose product is still increasing in demand while also being the environmental leader, isn’t a solution to the core problem.

  8. Not in a hundred years would this Liberal Bailout Journalist (?), interview his Benefactor (Trudeau) in the same pompous manner

  9. Don’t let Trudeau’s talk about putting government money towards a pipeline get warm and fuzzy. That is my and your money and Trudeau is mismanaging it.

  10. Typical eastern idealogy:
Alberta: “We have paid X amount in equalization payments over the years. With the current Federal government mentality the money is no longer there but the contribution is still expected from the west.”
The east: “Well thats your fault because you have lower taxes and no sales tax”
Because nothing solves a problem like more tax.
