Jeremy Bash Thinks Withdrawing Troops From Afghanistan Was ‘Clearly The Right Decision By POTUS’

    1. @Jonathan Peres The taliban fought the Soviets and got help from the US – later you named them terrorists and fought them. now you retreat – totally without any sense.

    2. @Deborah Freedman the war an terror was in Afghanistan and the middle east – as you surely know. both wars are terrible failures. remember Bush on the aircraft carrier “mission accomplished”…what a disgrace

  1. Joe needs a translator, it’s getting hard to understand what he’s saying when he mumbles his words together.

    1. @Donna Brockbank the issue is that because Biden does it, it’s suddenly ok and then the otherside is when Biden’s does shady deals with his son over seas we suddenly ignore the facts against him. Do you see standards here?

    2. @The Highly Offensive different advisors. Different by listening not wanting only yes people. Stay in Mexico isn’t a solution. Military money because his people stole money for the wall isn’t a solution. Sending children back into the desert isn’t a solution. The Senate Republicans made a big deal about the one dead body when there are probably numerous dead bodies.

    3. @The Highly Offensive Biden did not have anything to do with his son’s over seas dealings. It is still under investigation.

    4. China has been helping Iran, because of its need for oil, not Afghanistan. The Taliban is one terrorist group that Iran hasn’t aided, they actually helped the US in overthrowing them. Your point is pointless.

    5. @Deborah Freedman the point is that us pulling out of Afghanistan opens up the middle east as a whole. Yes since December China and Iran have made things official and yes moving out of Afghanistan we are giving China more room to base roots throughout these areas. Could very much so care less if you think it’s pointless. Some people swear that their neighbors are shapeshifting lizards. That concerns me about as much as your opinion. You probably think I’m some qanon nut too? Thing is hunny we as a people need to get real. And the point is very valid. Stand by and give it a few years

  2. Happy to see MSNBC willing to let a guest say pulling out of Afghanistan is a good idea. Maybe if they also did this under the previous administration we would already be out.

  3. So he agrees with President Trump’s decision then and Biden is now delaying withdrawal to a later date. Got it.

  4. “War is over if you want it” – John Lennon (always relevant then and in the hereafter). Also “Forever War” is one of the great anti-war science fiction novels that deserves to be adapted to a film or miniseries. It’s like we have a “meta” president that gets the message.

  5. America needs to gain strength now, and one way to facilitate that is to stop exerting so much of it in a place that becomes less important by the day.

  6. Biden has respect for our troops dead and alive not like Trump who called them suckers and losers

  7. We’re acquiring a reputation for pulling out of conflicts we were keen to get in to, and leaving our allies holding the can.

    Does anybody trust us anymore?

    1. They probably don’t trust us, but they’ll co-operate with us if we’re predictable. A “reputation” sounds pretty predictable to me.

    2. It’s possible it was making things worse for the citizens there too.
Our troops have been there for 20 years.

  8. It’s a good idea to recall all your troops out of theatre as you will need all of them for the upcoming war……..just sayin’
