Joe Biden On Buttigieg: He’s A ‘Really Caliber Candidate’ | The Last Word | MSNBC

Former Vice President Joe Biden tells Lawrence O’Donnell that he thinks Pete Buttigieg is a brilliant candidate and someone who must stay engaged in politics, possibly by even joining a Biden administration: “We've got to build up the bench with some really qualified people. And I warned him, if I get the nomination I'm coming to him. I'm going to ask him to join me.” Aired on 3/2/2020.

Joe Biden On Buttigieg: He’s A ‘Really Caliber Candidate’ | The Last Word | MSNBC

  1. Sounds like he warned Pete to stay in the game or else, & offered something in return. Joe just couldn’t stand that Bernie bested him, that’s why he called out Clyburn in SC.

  2. The “only thing that’s missing” — integrity and substance (re Buttigieg). The sad thing is, I think that Biden actually believes that most of the people he claims are “good guys” or “good people.” Buttigieg? Bloomberg? Not the best idea to have such a poor judge of character and reality as president. 🤦🏻‍♀️Just scratched the surface. #Bernie2020

  3. See, that’s why the democrats keep losing. The establishment of the party working against their base. So again it’s wait your turn until you”re 80 years old. Just great! Now the only choice is to vote for Trump.

  4. *To all those who think Trump genuinely wants Bernie to be the candidate, read up about game theory. Think of Trump’s playbook already, we know he often injects the opposite of reality into the discourse to bring about his desired ends. Listening to Biden now, I can see Trump’s likely campaign of smears against him very clearly; they won’t even need to doctor or create deep fakes of his broadcast interviews. He already comes across as someone who is really starting to grapple with mental deterioration. Before anyone attacks me for trolling Biden, please don’t, he seems like a lovely and genuine old dude, but seriously, Trump is going to attack him mercilessly on this front, his speech is really showing some tell-tale signs. Bernie on the other hand, despite being older by a couple of years is not – he’s still sharp as a tack.*

    1. Well, that’s all very cleverly calculated but guess what? You’re wrong…. about everything. Bernie is a mean and crazy old man whose hatred of Capitalism drives him. Joe has all his marbles and hate is not driving him.

      You get a C-minus.

*Yeah and this video is just over a minute long and contains more than ten cringe-worthy Biden moments from the past month alone. And if but one of these kind of moments occurs during a debate with Trump, he will send him straight to the meat-packers for express mincing. It doesn’t even contain the time when he thought he was at an event in an entirely different state! Or Just on Sunday when he called Chris Wallace “Chuck” – as in Chuck Todd who he was speaking with an hour beforehand.*

*Joe’s a nice guy for sure! But he’s getting fragile and sure ain’t ready to square off with the dirty street-fighter Trump. See the video, go on, he loses his cool and says silly stuff with democratic voters in the audience on numerous occasions. Trump, a masterful troll will push him to an angry place within minutes on the debate stage and the gaffes will just start popping.*

*Bernie has every right to be angry with the numerous injustices that he identifies on behalf of the downtrodden masses EVERY SINGLE time he succinctly speaks in public. It’s a lie that he stands for pure socialism. The democratic party has not moved towards genuine progressive reform for more than 70 years. Nice hat. Are you a farmer? Genuinely no offence intended, but have you been enjoying any of Trump’s “socialist” bailout money?*

  5. I like the line Bernie Drew. Even tho the power and money are on one side. The majority, their victims, stand on the other. This is the part where democracy chews off its own foot, to save themselves. Bon appetit.

  6. Biden Vs Trump, competition to see who’s the most inarticulate, bumbling, can’t string a sentence together president. My god, those debates in Oct would be painful, we seeing here why his team limits the number of live interviews he does. Really caliber guy?? OMFG

  7. What did O’Donnell call Pete right at the very beginning. That doesn’t just slip out if you haven’t been calling him that all along.
